Yes - grannys are usually evil.
However, the most evil ones don't usually do things like this - they like to keep up a front so no one will realise its them when they strike!!!

Yes they queue jump in shops too and then pretend not to notice,they reckon the young uns are getting cheeky but its the other way round,damned old wrinklies.

I think some older people (the kind that do this) feel it's "their turn", in their youth they had to give way to the elderly and not talk back to their parents and other adults so now they figure they can be as rude as they like. Add the sort that give unsolicited advice and criticism, loudly, in public, to total strangers!
