Shall we become brutes and savages again living in caves or something?

I blame the 68 movement you can all go to hell, besides you're all old and bold by now.

I am a Christian. I trust in God. I should not lean on my own understanding....but HELP...

i can't decide....about this job. I had previous jobs. But My supposed to be co-workers... they are too weird for me, I can't stand heavy metal music while at work...first of all...and other things.

I want to turn it down. But they want me there to report tomorrow already... God knows I need a job. But if God is giving this particular job far away, I am practically clueless. I can't decide...I need a job so BAD, but I don't want to be there tomorrow.

Because as per the eleventh chapter of Bagavad Gita, in the Universal Form shown by Lord Krishna, He is shown exactly as the monster description of Bible. Since that Universal Form was unbearable Arjuna says to take back that Form and show the amiccable smiling figure. Incidently Bhagavad Gita is said to be 5000 years old. Did the Bible writers copy the Monster version of Bible from Bhagavad Gita? Any other thoughts even not confining to this Q. frame work. 11 th chapter of Gita can be read from the following link http://www.saibaba.us/texts/jnaneshwari/chpt11.html

From a Christian Viewpoint
If the Bible (God) says that a Divorced woman should NOT re - marry, c`se she`ll be called an adulteress (whore), howcome they still try to justify their cases...

After all - On the very first day of the first marriage, they have promised in front of many a people (and God) "untill death ...."

What type of "Love" was the first relationship based upon, if the second relationship is also based on "love" ?

I`m divorced too (10 yrs now) and still keep my promise to my ex (and God) regardless of her whoring life ...

A divorced man or woman has infact still a living parter out there, which means that they are THEMSELVES just living adulteress lifes with their second partners ...it`s just common sence if you consider your first vow made infront of winesses ...

We talk about commitment to God ...

It's tough not to love your brother if your brother is sporting a Billy Ray Cyrus, wouldn't you agree?

Anyone who is a Christian is bound by Scripture. Now I understand that if necessary we are to rebuke, reprove, exhort,..However, we are to do those things with all patience.
I don't see that happening here with the unbelievers folks!!

We can rebuke someone who blasphemes, we can correct false doctrines. But no where in Scripture are we to enter into mud slinging. If you don't know what you're talking about, and simply turn to the flesh to win against someone who has given you a debate that you do not know how to addresss, then the fault lies with YOU..

Christian apologetics is that branch of Christianity that deals with answering any and all critics who oppose or question the revelation of God in Christ and the Bible. Apologetics can be defensive and offensive. Phil. 1:7 gives us instruction on the defensive side

2 Cor. 10:5-6 gives us instruction on the aggressive side...Anyone can ‘do’ apologetics. All it takes is a willingness, a little work, and the Spirit of God in you.

Until recently I thought that the ecstatic nihilism of the al-Qaeda volunteer bent on matyrdom was founded only a single ambition - to exterminate infidels and establish the dominance of shariah law.

But recently I learned that if matyrs die in the struggle, so much the better - since they will be welcomed into paradise by 72 virgins, ready to satisfy their every sensual need.

Or is this titilating inducement all that it seems?

A scholarly new Koranic study by Christoph Luxemberg suggests that the legend of the virgins is based on a misinterpretation of the word Hur, which translates from Arabic as `houris`but in the Syriac language meant `white raisins`.

Imagine the disappointment of a suicide bomber who arrives in heaven expecting a bevy of gorgeous maidens, `chaste as hidden pearls`, only to be offered a small bowl of dried grapes instead.

To make suicide bomber recruitment a more open and fair process, can Koranic scholars please clarify?

Did God has penis?
Did Jesus had a haircut?

There's more of it and continue counting as of this writing.

And why are some encouraging it by taking time to answer it?

They ram their religion downs our throats, they demand that their twisted beliefs are taught in schools and even expect to be part of government. Isn't it time we showed these psychologically damaged folk that we won't put up with any more of their nonsense.

The next time one of these idiots tries to peddle religion at you, just sock him/her in the mouth with the nearest blunt object. Can I get an Amen here?

If a child grew up in the wild, think like the jungle book. A feral child perhaps, but a hermit essentially who is cut off from civilisation. He lives a simple life, mainly because his time is spent constantly struggling to survive. He kills to eat but not with malice or cruelty. However, because of his environment, he does not believe in religion (perhaps through lack of mental capacity, perhaps because he has never been exposed to it). After a long and full life, the adult this child has become dies, and assuming 'religion' (by which I mean all forms and types) is true... how would he be judged, if his eternal soul exists and is destined to go somewhere... where would it go?

Its something I have been thinking about, I will add to this question with further questions and comments so perhaps we can make a debate of it as it is something that interests me.

My first language is English. I knew some Italian as a child but couldn't hold a conversation in it till 1994-5, when I lived in Italy. I didn't speak it again until recently..However..I have been living in Japan since 1998 and my Japanese is not bad.
The problem is-I can`t keep all 3 languages active in my mind. I completely confuse Japanese and Italian-when I think and speak!! It is very very frustrating.

Does anyone please have any hints and tips on how to maintain both my foriegn languages???

I should mention that I am gay myself and live in a very very loving monogamous relationship with a man for 7 years now. My neighbor is married to a woman with 2 small kids and I know he's gay because I have caught him at local gay hangouts. He has no idea I have seen him. I have seen him making out and even going to places where I am fully aware guys go to have sex with other guys. Also, everytime his wife goes away, "his friend" comes by and stays there. I can't stand them, not because he's living a lie cause that's something he has to deal with himself, but because they are obnoxious. For starters, they told me once too bad you guys can't have kids and another time he mistook me for hired help because I'm latin an was working on my own lawn!

Let's use common sense: Before you say anything in ur mind just think: The sky, the earth, the stars, the moon, the sun, can those things just create themselves. When u ask someone who doesn't believe in God he/she says evolution, but evolution, HOW?
I don't know abt you, but as for me I would rather go to HEAVEN as stupid instead of spending an eternity in HELL as ignorant. I'm sorry I'm not trying to offend anyone who doesn't believe, but I just want u to think a second time.
I welcome all opinions as long as it's not gonna offend me or any other people reading it.
thanks
