Personally I think we should follow Jonathan Swifts advice!

I think that it is a woman's choice and that it is personal to her and the father of the child. I don't know what Jonathon Swift said so I can't comment on his advice.

1) If fetuses were aborted as a matter of policy, that would be it for humanity.
2) Swift did not advocate eating fetuses. He advocated eating the children of the poor, to do us all a favour. Big difference.

The church and government should stay out of peoples wombs. It should be the decision of the person. I grew up in the 70s before abortion was legal and lost a friend to a back door hacker. At least this way the woman has a choice and can get proper help.

In the first 30 to 40 days of pregnancy, the fetus has no spirit, in this period it's only a living body, so abortion of the fetus in this period is allowed only for logical and reasonable causes. But after this period there is spirit in the fetus, so abortion of the fetus will be killing a human spirit which is a crime, and because of that it's forbidden.
This is according to Islam.

You mean in "A Modest Proposal" ???? I personally wouldn't do it, Don't punish the fetus for your own crime. I'm talking to the women who get knocked up for fun, then abort the baby so they can do it again. They'll receive their reward full reward in time, for sure.

it is not their fault they got into this mess,
why punish them.
i believe abortion is wrong.
we should have strict punishments for ppl who become pregnant and dont want the responsibility of looking after them,not forgetting the losers who made them pregnant.
instead we hand them everything on a plate.

all unbord children are children of God and to murder them is wrong and inmoral. I think abortion should be illegal and those who conduct abortion be hanged.
