Why is the book of Revelation incomprehensible if it is really "not sealed" (Rev 22:10)? Why are the prophecies in the book of Daniel actually easier to understand, if they are sealed (Daniel 12:9)?

Since she had no one to go with I went. But B4 we left I asked her where her friend was registered so I can buy her a gift. Nothing fancy just a thank you for allowing a total stranger to attend. Well my best friend told me not to worry she'll put my name on the gift as if it were from both of us. I was okay with that and gave her half the money for the gift. When the bride is opening up her gift she reads who it's from and only says my friends name. I'm sure she didn't write it or she would have said it. Should I be upset or just let it slide since she is my best friend? I just felt kinda bad I went pretty much empty-handed.

of busy-body christian fanatics trying to convert the world? They talk about how bad Islam is at converting the masses, but they are doing the same fricken thing. Why can't we all just "discuss" religion? Why do we always have to be confronted by 500 words of scripture everytime anyone mentions it? I'm just here to discuss theories, when all I ever see is bible-thumpers telling us we're all going to hell! Screw them all!

Belief in the FSM and belief in jesus' rising from the dead both cannot be proven and are both fairly irrational. Except that the FSM has bigger balls than jesus' god! Why would you choose christianity?

I'm a Christian so I`d apreciate answers only from believers, thanks in advance.

So does God either know anything we will do, who will go to Heaven and who won't, or is there a little gap, room, for us to chose. Would that imply God is not omniscient ? Do the Scriptures even say that ? The question comes down to : how can an omniscient God that knows all exist with at the same time with "free-will" ?

If you are not muslim, stop spreading lies around. It's sick and belittling. Why is everyone always attacking muslims??? How about your own religion? Every religion have good and bad people. Stop generalizing and putting muslims in Osama's category. What's the point anyway, everyone is content thinking muslims are terrorists and they don't know a single piece of the truth...we are a religion of peace...we truly are..but if you choose to remain ignorant.. if won't affect Muslims in anyway

Dating Etiquette: Who pays?

Scenario: A common friend to a man and a woman sets the two up on a blind date. The couple go out to dinner at a nice restaurant, one that their friend suggested for their first date. The two meet at the restaurant. Both enjoy the dinner and the company of the other. The bill arrives.

The waiter places the bill on the table equal distance between the couple. Who should reach for the bill? How should the bill be divided, if at all? Please explain answer.

Also, have you had any awkward/funny experiences regarding who picks up the tab?

Periodically, someone (myself included) will ask if you would renounce your religion to save your child from execution. The answers are usually split about 50/50, with some people answering that they would let their child die in the name of the lord.

My question is this: To those of you who said they would rather accept Jesus into their hearts and save their own skin, rather than save the 12 babies....Did it ever occur to you that maybe YOU had been sent to save these babies, and this was a morality test on Jesus' part??

Obviously, those who don't believe in God thinks the word needs less power than it has already, but in common language, many / most people say "OMG," and "Oh, God!" and stand-ins like "Gosh," "Golly," etc. We talk about God on sites like this as a theoretical or as something that we believe in or don't believe in, but when we think of reverence or the vastness that we believe to be the Divine, does the word "God" do it for you, or is it just another word?

to my fellow latinos it is clear that soon hugo chavez will invade the countries of the north until the top off mexico to the bottom of argentina we will be under his communistic reign and he will force us into islam (just like are white ancestors the spainiards...minus the converting us to islam) if we don't convert we will be killed by the holy sword of islam... then he builts a bridge through the african muslim countries to the middle east where we are isolated from normal people... and ye thats my theory.. oh yea and will get some fat mexicanas to be suicide bombers if she doesn't do it shell be raped by her husband in the name of islam... and the carribeans would... uhh im not sure theyd deafeat us with the boats and black and white majorities...?

ok so my school is holding its annual blood drive next week and i have heard many people say that if you are gay you CAN NOT give blood. well i decided to get in to that a www.blood.com and for sure it was true if you are a man and have had sex with a man after 1977 even just once you are not allowed to give blood! well as far as i know i have not ever had an sdt and i dont plan on it. but my question is why is my blood any different from a straight male! its not like they dont screen the blood before they give it to any body so why if i am clean would they refuse me for my sexual orentation

Everybody know that the languages from 3000 years ago was not the same as the used 1000 years ago or 500 or in our days. the languages every time have changes, upgrade, mixed with another, becoming a different languages or dissapear, my question is about the 5 languages (actual languages) that do you believe will survive, maybe in 500 or 800 years in the future??? (or less time, is about the future) which are your five candidats and why??? (give me your reasons)
