Obviously, those who don't believe in God thinks the word needs less power than it has already, but in common language, many / most people say "OMG," and "Oh, God!" and stand-ins like "Gosh," "Golly," etc. We talk about God on sites like this as a theoretical or as something that we believe in or don't believe in, but when we think of reverence or the vastness that we believe to be the Divine, does the word "God" do it for you, or is it just another word?

Just a filthy word that shouldn't exist except for the weakness of some people's minds to face the world as it is -- no deity, just raw math given physical form via the laws of physics.

Yes we have. Simply the definition of what God is to each individual is misunderstood.
There is little understanding in the modern society as to who the one true God is.
Unfortunately most people fail to realize that they have made themselves God.

God is worth less than a sparsed farthing, a warm bucket of spit, a hot fart in a cold windstorm..... The term is worth less than a man's rights in a family court....
