Most of us have complained about bad service, but have you made a comment, especially to a manager, about an employee's outstanding service? I'm referring to more than just a restaurant. But other places like retail. It might do well for the employee in a performance review if customers have commented on their performance.

I am a Christian and I have a friend who is Agnostic. We enjoy having discussions about what we believe. Recently he told me that I gave him one of the best arguments he had ever heard in favor of Christianity. (This did not convert him, but it was a compliment to me. LOL!)
So, out of curiosity, I would like to know from the Agnostics out there, what are the best or most logical arguments you have heard in favor of Christianity?
Also, I read online that Christians who use logic to argue for our cause are called Apologetics. Is this correct?

I have been raised with Christian beliefs my whole life but I always question things and piss people off. I have studied a lot into different religions and philosophies. My heart and my mind are leaning towards Buddhism but I just can't seem to shake off the way I was raised. Any advice?

When somebody at an event says "Good to have you here!" or "Glad you could make it!" What do you say besides 'I'm glad to be here..." ??? I always sound like an idiot because I don't know what to say!

Are there similar verses found in the old testatment? Because the two(Quran and Old testament) always have similarities.

Thanks.

Tell me how are YOU showing respect to God, when you will not even admit that Mr smith was wrong

"God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens!!! . . . We have imagined that God was God from all eternity. I will refute that idea and take away the veil, so that you may see" (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 345

"The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man's" (Doctrine and Covenants 130:22. Compare with Alma 18:26-27; 22:9-10)

God has always been God (Psalm 90:2; Isaiah 57:15)
God is a spirit without flesh and bones (John 4:24; Luke 24:39)

Tell me how are YOU honoring GOD by following a false prophet. and preaching LIES.

Tell me How are YOU honoring Jesus by this

Mormon
Jesus is the literal spirit-brother of Lucifer, a creation. (Gospel Through the Ages, p. 15)

Even if you do not teaching these it would seem that you have false prophets among you

Okay, this is a question that will require some thought. There is no "right" or "wrong" answer, so I will award the 10 points to the answer that I find most interesting or intriguing.

Scientists have discovered a giant asteroid hurtling towards the Earth. It will be here in one week. There is nothing anyone can do to stop it. The human race is doomed. There is nowhere you can run and no where to hide to escape the effects.

How do you spend your last week on Earth?

My class valedictorian is so incredibly smart and talented!!!! I heard a rumor that she isn't going to college because her mom won't let her.. it's part of their religion; they are jehovah's witnesses. What does college have to do with that? She's incredibly talented.. why should she be held back from achieving more?

I just don't get it I guess...

Answers from people who actually know what they're talking about please...

Is the social acceptance of recreational drug use in youth culture heading towards instability and breakdown in modern society? Or will we get past this phase and onto the next big worrying issue that will "be the end of society as we know it"?

47.12": Surely Allah will make those who believe and do good enter gardens beneath which rivers flow; and those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as the beasts eat, and the fire is their abode.
"47.13": And how many a town which was far more powerful than the town of yours which has driven you out: We destroyed them so there was no helper for them.
"47.14": What! is he who has a clear argument from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work is made fairseeming: and they follow their low desires.

Could somebody please translate the following for me (into English, unless you can do this in Polish :-))

Cantate Domino canticum novum,
laus ejus in Ecclesia Sanctorum.
Laetetur Israel in eo, qui fecit eum,
et filii Sion exultent in rege suo.

I know that the beginning is:
Sing to the Lord a new song, but I nedd help in further part...
Thanks.

I would love to hear from all people of all religeous backgrounds. I am not ashamed to say that I am a Catholic, but I do not agree with the popes views and that speech that he made. I thought that religeon was supposed to teach peace, love and respect. I am begining to think that what the Pope had said would start a religeous war. To those who wish christians harm because of the Popes error, please keep in mind that what he had said is not the views of all Catholics. I have a lot of respect for and wish to learn more about other cultures and their religeous beliefs. Please let me know what is your opinion on this subject.
