that's what he told his followers, they believed him. most others did not. i know a lot of you will say it's impossible and quote bible scriptures, but what would you do if it turned out he was christ?

It's always strange how people will believe the bible, given with all it's contradictions, and clearly impossible feats, and answer with God did it. But if someone came forward today and said they were Jesus, or if they said they had a vision from God, they would most likely be labeled a nutcase.
Don't trust the word of man.

He didn't start out telling them. It was the old woman who ran the church before him. She "prophecied" that the messiah was coming and then koresh (david koresh is not that man's real name... it's the name the old woman gave him After he joined the Branch Davidians) joined their church. She pretty much put it into his head that he was Christ. though later I think he said he was merely a vessel to warn people about the True Coming of Christ.

As for me, I would do nothing. Obviously, if he were, the Rapture or Ressurrection would have happened (or both) and I would be getting better parking and not having to stand in line so long at the grocery store.

He could not be Christ, because he was not accepted by Israel as their Messiah. Scripture does teach that many will come saying they are Christ. It is just a sign of the end of the Age.

Why even ask that since it is impossible. The entire universe will know when Jesus Christ returns, it will be no secret. False prophets and those saying they are Him, was warned about already. Some people fall blindly into faiths outside what Jesus intended. Read more here...

He Lied. The fools that followed him, many died and yet he still has stupid followers. Same with heavens gate. There is something wrong when people blindly follow; just as the muslims.

I guess I'd be in trouble, I just have a hard time with the idea that you are the second coming, and you wear glasses. You can heal everyone but not your own poor eyesight.
