I am a Christian but I do believe man has evolved. I believe the first man, Adam looked quite different from our current form. I still believe we were created by God, I just think that over the thousands of years we have been here our form has changed gradually from generation to generation. I see this as a resonable explaination. Just because God never mentioned the physical changes to us doesn't mean that it didn't happen.

What are your thoughts? I would especilly like to hear from Christians.

2 Peter 3:3-7 says that in the last days people will scoff and mock God asking "Where is Jesus' coming, he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the begining of creation."

i've seen people ask questions about what does 'such-and-such' in language 'so-and-so' mean, and often someone say's: well, bablefish says it means 'this-and-that', and that is a word for word translation, no sentence structure, and the wrong translation of words which ( like most words ) have more than one meaning so the result is complete nonsense.

I have sympathy for most Arabs living in the Middle East, though my knowledge is limited it seems most are poor and uneducated. I was wondering who is to blame for this, since there is so much wealth in your oil. Why doesn't it get spread around to the common people? Do the government leaders hoard it? I do not believe it is the fault of the West, since we do not control how your leaders distribute your wealth. Shouldn't your politicians make sure their people are taken care of?

God is just simply STUPID-He is so powerful and full of glory and himself that he created me! What is this stupid idea that men keep their feelings bottled up and women don't? If a man tells how he feels about his job, or his life, or how great he feels watching a very cool movie, how is he not talking about his emotions!?

And what about women? If a woman NEVER tells people how she really fells about things, and doesn't try to really understand the people she talks to, (or should I say, "at") how is she being a great communicator who likes to talk about her feelings?

I see this all the time, yet people love to believe that men are morons at communication and emotion, and women are masters at it.

That's incredibly sexist! I guess white people are smarter than black people too right?

Why do people believe these things when it's clear that many men and women both communicate well, and terribly, depending on the individual and the circumcstances?

An agnostic just posted about how this was the best argument for Christianity he's ever heard of.

He pointed out how the disciples of Jesus were willing to give up everything they had in order to spread the message and truth they had witnessed. Most of them even eventually died for it.

He then rebuked it by saying many people die for their religion. But I think there is a key difference in this case. The disciples had NOTHING to gain from their sacrifice. Christ had already saved them and so it wasn't necessary for them to get into Heaven, there is no extra reward for the evangelicist, they definitely didn't live in wealth as they spent a lot of time in prison, and yet they were willing to die to proclaim the truth.

My question to you is why would anyone do this if they made it up?
