Whats the point of dying if you know you are going to a "better place". Saying it was a great sacrifice is like saying you are a hero by moving from a ghetto to a mansion. It is never mentioned that the sacrifice was pain but the act of dying but if he had come from heaven then he would know it exists and therefore couldnt wait to get back there so its hardly a sacrifice.

I got tired of bashing Christians last night, so I just became one.

I'm leaning towards Catholic, but I'm not sure yet.

I found out after going through a recent difficult situation who my real friends were, and one girl in particular was so supportive and good hearted that I want to show her my appreciation. I'm not great at picking out gifts, but I know I don't want anything as generic as a gift card or gift certificate. And nothing terribly expensive. She is creative, cultured, sincere, caring, loves art, and incredibly beautiful (but not single...so nothing romantic). Thanks everyone.

Think about it people...remember the Orcish creatures, how they hated all non-orcs? Notice that?

Didnt the Orcish culture look like an Islamic one? Thats no coincidence.

Isnt the same errie and nefarious feeling you got when you saw the hate creatures not the very same feeling you get when you wake up every day and read about a new Islamic war or act of terror?

Tell me your name, and I'll try to memorize it so I can ask for you when I get there. I can't wait anymore to get there, and I'd like to meet each one of you who makes it to heaven too.
Our lord is coming soon, so don't let anyone discourage you.
Pray for me and I'll pray for you, my name is: Lamy Adolf

I usually pray every night, and I promise to pray for each name TONIGHT.
God bless you!

Alright here are a few if it's too personal then I mean no offense and you don't have to answer.
I'm just wondering.

Gay men :
1. Did u have a Father growing up?
2. Did u have passive father figure or a firm father figure?
3. Have u ever been sexually molested by a male or female? (don't have to answer that if u dont' want just answer in your head)
4. Do you love your mom more than your dad?
5. Was your mother controlling or posessive growing up?
6. Was your father?
7. Were u constantly teased throughout your life about being gay even before you came out?
8. Do you love yourself?
9. Do you hate yourself?
10. What's the farthest age back that you can remember feeling attracted to males? Actual age

Lesbian females:
Pretty much the same as the questions for the males just flip the genders you get what I mean.

I would appreciate the answers don't have to answer all of them just whichever ones you want.
Again no offense it is a learning tool.

Love,
mmmk92

I just became a Christian last night, after I got bored with bashing Christians.

I like the Catholic channel the best of all the Christian stations.

Oh, and please don't "warn" me about Catholicism or you'll bring out another bashing streak me in me.

Is it okay after midnight, will it give the neighbours a terrible fright; then perhaps it's them we should invite? My oh my, dancing naked to dawn, drinking the drinks till it's all gone; please; tell me why this party is wrong. I'm looking forward to the next bash, and before You know it the times gone in a flash; so let's party it up and jump up and down; in drampors neck of the woods; it's dance naked town!

to keep "clean"?

(Preface: I don't mean to offend - just trying to provoke thought. If you are easily offended - DON"T read the rest of this question - click on "BACK" right now. )

Exodus 12:29 says "At midnight the Lord stuck down all the firstborn in Egypt from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the prisoner who was in the dungeon"

To make it even worse, God had deliberately "hardened Pharaoh's heart" to prevent him from letting the Jews leave Egypt - just to teach him a lesson, apparently.

How do you reconcile this baby-killing behavior with the nature of God?

Why does God say, "Thou Shalt Not Kill" when he seems to use mass murder as nothing more than an object lesson?

Would a non-Christian or Muslim reading the Bible correctly infer that the Christian God condones killing innocent babies if they are the enemies?

Thoughts?

I am reading "Interpreter of Maladies" by Jhumpa Lahiri and I needed to know if the Hindu wife wore some clothing because of religion or because she just didn't like her husband.
