Alright here are a few if it's too personal then I mean no offense and you don't have to answer.
I'm just wondering.

Gay men :
1. Did u have a Father growing up?
2. Did u have passive father figure or a firm father figure?
3. Have u ever been sexually molested by a male or female? (don't have to answer that if u dont' want just answer in your head)
4. Do you love your mom more than your dad?
5. Was your mother controlling or posessive growing up?
6. Was your father?
7. Were u constantly teased throughout your life about being gay even before you came out?
8. Do you love yourself?
9. Do you hate yourself?
10. What's the farthest age back that you can remember feeling attracted to males? Actual age

Lesbian females:
Pretty much the same as the questions for the males just flip the genders you get what I mean.

I would appreciate the answers don't have to answer all of them just whichever ones you want.

1) Yes (and he's still alive, thank God after a minor heart attack this last week)
2) Very firm, but very fair and very loving. I always knew I was loved.
3) Yes, I think by both. They were two sets of neighbors, but I have no clear memory, just the feelings and the dread.
4) No, not really, but I do talk better with Mama than with Father.
5)No she wasn't. Like Father she was firm but loving.
6)No.
7)No, not about being gay but just constantly teased. It was like everyone knew something about me that I didn't know. I'm still trying to put 2and2 together.
8)I have a great self-esteem; although somedays it and I are fragile) and I figured out long ago if I don't love me it doesn't really matter if the whole world would.
9) Nope. I'm marvelous and I have people who love me.
10) I can't ever remember being attracted to other females sexually except as friends. I was actually sexually ambigous while growing up. When I first met my Partner (of now almost 26 years) it was like an instant connection, sort of like "Oh. There you are!" She was the soul I was waiting for.

2. He was middle of the road. But I always knew that when he talked I better listen.

4. I love both my parents equally. They've been married for 52 years. That's a record I believe in the hetero world of marriage. And btw...it had nothing to do with the piece of paper, but the commitment.
5. My mother is wonderful. Was never controlling nor possessive.

Yes I had a mother growing up, she was and still is my best friend.
My mother was firm but gentle at the same time.
Yes, actually, I was molested. Dont remember it at all due to a very young age, but I was told it was my father.

1. He didn't live with us but we visited him a lot. I liked him better than my mom. They broke up but were still friends and he died about 5 years ago. I sort of had a father.

yes, i had a father growing up! I was NEVER molested by anyone...ever! I love my parents equally! I was not teased before I came out because no one could "tell" that I was. I am happy with who I am, I do not hate myself. I have a wonderful partner who loves me, and my family, friends and coworkers accept me for who I am. I have always and only ever been attracted to other women.
why do you people always think there was some event growing up that "changed" us? we were born the way God created us...and he makes no mistakes! if God didn't create homosexuals, there wouldn't be any!!
