That depends on the person, right? I mean, everyone types and talks differently, yeah? Perhaps where they live it's a common thing to do, but so what? As if an Australian/Brit never types with something on the end, you know? Maybe you shouldn't generalize everyone so easily, eh?

You can also tell because it will be full of misspellings, poor grammar, gibberish like 'u no' and most probably expressions of racism.
