Let's say your wife secretly spends down the emergency bank account from over $5,000 to less than two thousand, and you forgive her; and at the same time she has secret credit cards with interest rates averaging over 20%; and when you find out about them the total is over $7,000; and you forgive her and transfer the balances to one of your low-interest credit cards, then she does it again, and bounces all kinds of checks, paying over 700 dollars in bank fees over a period of a few weeks trying to pay the balances on those credit cards, and you later find out; and you forgive her; and several months later you discover four more credit cards when mail comes in while she is out of town, and she swears (for the third time) that's the end of them, and you forgive her; and arrange for somone to get the mail for you before she gets it, so you can take charge of the whole mess: how soon can you trust her and mend your marriage?

easy 'choice' to make....So here's the deal--but only because it's such an easy choice...why don't some of you straight guys go out and change yourselves into gays for a month, two months..whatever..have sex with men....remember it's a snap to turn around and choose to be straight again. Then maybe you can get on this site and genuinely discuss if homosexuality is a choice or not. I will tell you this...that 95% of the gay people on here have at least tried heterosexuality and it didn't work for them..If it's such an easy choice to be straight...why do you suppose that it didn't work...why do you suppose they chose to live a life where they risk losing their families, their jobs , their self-esteem..why did they choose to be bad mouthed and bashed by straights and choose a god that considers them an abomination..THey chose this...get a grip..just use 10% of youre logic and you'll see what a ridiculous question it is...How many gay people do you know who would say 'Gee I chose it?

It’s a well known fact that IQ level has nothing whatsoever to do with individual intelligence, but the ability to reason is highly significant.

Are you religious and intelligent, and if so, why?

Is there a tendency for gay people to deny bisexuality? Do bisexuals think everyone is really bisexual? Do straight people tend to think non-straights are actually straight but just misguided? How fluid is human sexuality anyway?

I have seen a lot of Christians & Muslims make the statement – “my religion is the best”. Is this not an indication of pride, arrogance and a superiority complex. Is this not the same as saying “I am the best” or “my children are the best.” Is this not in contradiction to what religion teaches us – not to be proud & arrogant and to always show humility. Don’t you feel that, in this day and age such statements signifying superiority have become totally outdated.

My boyfriend has a degree in Philosophy, and his father is lapsed in the Jewish faith. So he is quite well-informed. I on the other hand, have a Jewish upbringing and quite strong need to keep the faith going onto the next generation. My boyfriend supports me in every aspect, except he says he would not allow for his baby son (hypothetically, we aren't even married yet) to be circumcised. I feel hopelessly uninformed about the subject to further our discussions on it.

In buddhism, it's the cause of those peoples' Kamma. All of them have destined to die on that day, on that time. Because their Kamma for current life is over.

Anyone wonder why there's not a site on here for atheists? Before you lay into this, just realize: I have my own beliefs and I swear I respect yours. However, it seems like many invoke your beliefs in the name of bashing religion and it seems upsetting. Will a real atheist respond, not someone claiming God is a frace so I can hear what is really to be said?
