never met anyone who didn't agree with evoulution, met a few who say we should always be sceptical as science often changes as newer discoveries are made but none which down right disagreed with it. don't know how so many people can down right reject whats there. considering i'm a Catholic who went to two Catholics schools, go to church and my science teacher was a Catholic, seems weird i never met one, maybe there just arn't that many in England.

and no, don't think they can be saved as they're to ignorant and blind to the truth

yea! I have met MANY... and I are one.... Believe me it's not we who need saving, it is YOU who are still caught up in the big lie called evolution... blind followers of the blind leaders! All the science (and I mean real science, not the pseudo-science that poses as fact to prove evolution) is on the side of creation. As an example, saying that even one molecule of protein could form by "chance" is on the same probability of a volcano erupting and forming a city, given enough opportunity over millions of years. We are strange and alien to you because truth and light always seem strange to darkness...

As an evolutionist - wouldn't you think fundamentalists are weaker and should have all died out by now?

Yes, goto any anti-Bush rally. At the other side of the street you'll see the pro-Bush religious types.

Think Napoleon Dynamite, older usually, with a little hillbilly in em.

To paraphrase H.L. Mencken:

People who are trying to save the world are often trying to rule it.

I do believe in "micro-evolution" (genetic variation), but not macro-evolution. No one has ever witnessed macro-evolution and so there is no scientific evidence to support it.
