I think someone, like jesus, who wanted us to live anyway, should have given us the model answer for the kind of questioning we might have to go through when we die.

And if the answer is that we can't take Genesis literally, then why didn't God ever tell anyone(Moses, Jesus, or whoever he talked to) about them?

We just finished watching The Exorsist of Emily Rose and it dawned on me how rediculous it is to believe in demonic possession when it can all be explained by Psychology.

My mother worked at a the state Mental institution and worked with Abraham Lincoln and Jesus every day. She would come home and tell me stories of how Jesus was upset and smote a nurse because she gave him milk instead of O.J. This is in the same realm of Psychology and not far off from a demonic possesion.

So my question is to you how come people never claim to be possesed by angels? And what is your thoughts?

Why do people who call themselves christian follow after the doctrine of man. Who changed the Lords 7th day sabath to the 1st day sunday of the week? Why do we keep this sabath when it is not of God but contrary to his word. Doesn't that mean the we attned sunrise service on sunday for nothing?.

I wasn't raised as a Christian (or any other religion) and have knowledge gaps in the life of Jesus, as well as many other parts of the bible, and am curious to learn a little more.

First of all, I have trouble understanding the concept of Jesus dying for the sins of all humans. Can someone please explain a little about this to me?

I have also heard of something called "The Wilderness Years", which is, or so I've heard others discussing, when Jesus' whereabouts were unaccounted for in The Bible, for about 10 years or so. Where is he believed to have gone, and what is he believed to have done? Are there many theories about this, or are Christians pretty much in agreement about this?

I'm not mocking Christians or any aspect of Christianity, I'm simply curious and would like to know (without having to read the whole bible, which I don't have time to do right now - predicting some of those responses!). I appreciate your time.

And... did you know if you hit the animal it falls under comprehensive on your car insurance which usually means you have a lower deductible, and it isn't held against you. Did you know if you swerved and missed the animal, but hit something else.. you're now involved in an "at-fault" accident, and have to pay your collision deductible!!! Would you hit the darned cat or squirrel or go for the bank or pole??

Except with family sometimes, I don't observe any rituals or holidays of my faith. I do, however, find that every so often, and sometimes more often than that, I am drawn to religiosity, and not necessarily my own faith. And it is quite extreme in belief system and practice- the orthodox or what one might call fundamentalist/traditionalist slants. This has been a constant "battle" in my soul for many years. What can I do to finally "pick a side" and find peace ?

"Believe in God AND Muhammad as his final of the final and last of the final series of final prophets"

"Believe in God AND you need to accept Jesus"

AMAZING HOW NO RELIGION JUST TELLS YOU TO BELIEVE IN GOD WITH NO "AND"....NO RELIGION TELLS YOU THAT BELIEF IN GOD ALONE IS ENOUGH.

IN ISLAM, BELIEF IN GOD ALONE IS NOT AT ALL ENOUGH....YOU ARE CERTAIN TO BURN IN THE HELLFIRES FOREVER IF YOU REJECT MUHAMMAD AND THE QURAN HE DICTATED.

CHRISTIANTY THE SAME.

She compared Christians to terrorists, and yet it is the homosexual community who is known for intimidating and expecting their view to be heard. Poor Dr. Laura suffered by losing her show and then what about Star Jones Reynolds.
Share your views please. I question why they want to shut Christians up.

Many people go to hell because procrastination. They think there always be a to-morrow, but someday to-morrow will never come. Think of those who went to work at WTC twin tower 9/11,2001. Did any of them realize that that day was their last day on earth? Be saved to-day. Jesus is waiting to welcome you to Heaven!
