Exodus 20:8 to keep the sabbath
Christ's death on the cross fulfills the Law, and does away with it, allowing us to worship God EVERY day.

I think it was Jesus that raised from the dead on the first day of the week. And I think it was the NEW testament that changed a lot of the old law. Even the word Christian is only New testament.
The question above brings up the calendar issue and the answer is that the Jewish Priest has to declare the new moon so we can start on the first day of the month and from there the sabbath day was established. They have a different calender than we do..
But the real answer is Jews keep the sabbath and Christians don't.

Naw, Jesus mentioned the Sabbath replaced into made for guy, and not guy for the Sabbath. the only between the ten commandments no longer reitierated in the recent testomony is the command to maintain the Sabbath holy. The Sabbth Day, orr 7th, replaced into and nonetheless is Saturday. Christians worship on Sundays because of the fact Christ rose from the lifeless on a Sunday...

The early church changed the "sabbath" from Saturday to Sunday to differentiate themselves from the Jews.
But really, who invented the calendar? The bible says rest on the seventh day, right? Well, does the bible say when to start the count? is there some marker which delineates which day is first or last? It really doesn't matter which day the sabbath is, as long as it is observed every seven days.

It's in Exodus somewhere. It's a part of the ten commandment.

that was in the old testament, when people were living by the law, but Jesus came and now we live by grace, not by our actions but by Gods mercy and love.
