I've been teaching overseas for a number of years and would like to change professions.
What is in your opinion a job that gives a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment? I should add, without necessarily being the most driven person in the world.

Not necessarily the most driven person in the world? Well, perhaps figuring out what does "drive" you would be a start...then search for a career in that area.

Service industries offer such positions. Millright, maintenance mechanic/electrician, motor mechanic, all giving a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment, when a job is well done and apreciated.

Helping others out of a jam is interesting and satisfying as well, no matter in what "job" capacity (or even for free!).

I was once in your profession and I consider it one of the more fulfilling professions--psychically, that is. Imagine being able to influence young minds to think differently and ponder on issues and do research instead of just being content with their textbooks. I have not been forgotten! 20 years later, I meet these previous students of mine (most are now professionals) and they are proud of their attitude in life now... thinking out of the box and they attribute it to me challenging them to do just that in their high school years.

Nowadays, I still deal with students...on individual terms. These are professionals in their respective fields who would consult and that by itself is a source of satisfaction for me. Some would even stay around and will not make major moves in their duties and responsibilities without asking me first whether they were doing right.

Being able to help others reshape their attitudes in life in whatsoever capacity is what I would say as most fulfilling of all.

Someone who cleans up crime scenes after the coroner hauls the mutalated corpses away.

Maybe your job isn't so bad after all, eh?

I think an exotic dancer probably feels pretty satisfied whenever they want to.
