We just finished watching The Exorsist of Emily Rose and it dawned on me how rediculous it is to believe in demonic possession when it can all be explained by Psychology.
My mother worked at a the state Mental institution and worked with Abraham Lincoln and Jesus every day. She would come home and tell me stories of how Jesus was upset and smote a nurse because she gave him milk instead of O.J. This is in the same realm of Psychology and not far off from a demonic possesion.
So my question is to you how come people never claim to be possesed by angels? And what is your thoughts?

Are you talking about (Mystical) Delusional Ideas syndrome or about religious scope of the thing?
Mystical Delusional Ideas syndrome can make people believe they are not themselves but an angel, Virgin Mary, or whoever, and that they are meant to save the people or something like that.
And the religious aspects, good angels are satisfied with their lives, so they guide, but never possess you because they know it would hurt you and take your free will and your conscience of your actions.
Widest explanation I can think of.

Angels and demons are not the same. I think demons are Satan's offspring, because Satan can't be omnipresent the same way God is. God has the Holy Spirit that can fill people, and drive them to do good things. Perhaps study more about the Holy Spirit (sometimes called the Holy Ghost), who I believe guides people to do things -- some people refer to it as the "voice in their head" or "intuition". I know I've been prompted to do or say something by a supernatural force, I belive it was the Holy Spirit.

That's a good question. I think being possessed by a demon idea freaks people out and tries to make them good. Never heard of being possessed by an angel.

Cuz Angels are enlightened being and they don't possess people to do harm, if they need to communicate with you they do, but not thru possession. Plus, they have a body of their own, why would they possess someone?

to be possessed you are inhabited by evil, like demons. angles are holy, they can't possess you or inhabit your body. They guide you and protect you and enlighten you but never enter your physical body. They are good and cannot possess evil.

because then they would have to answer questions about G-d since they had an insider's view that nobody can answer. but anybody with a good imagination can fake demonic posession, there is so much mythology about hell.
