It seems many theists think atheists are just ignoring.....wait

Many Christians think atheists are just ignoring God so they can do what they want to do. I don't know what other theists think, so "others" please chime in if you have an opinion. What the heck are atheists thinking?

I am trying to figure out when it was that the federal government in Canada passed a bill or law that stopped prayer in public schools. I am a student teacher and was flabbergasted when I was in a public school in Ontario and heard the whole student body recite the Lord's Prayer as a part of their opening exercises following the singing of "O Canada". How is it that this is okay in a PUBLIC school?

okay i was at college and this girl asked me where how to get to some builidings then i was like yeah its right there.....then she was like u dont have walk me all the way babe...i was like smiling its alright im about to go....i was like so ur new here..she wa slike no i been to those buildings like 100times...but i dont remember...( what is that supposed to mean..not to be conceited....sounds like she really did know how to get there but idk ) ....she was like what classes r u taking ...and she said wait what teacher do u have for history i said rye and she said oh nvm i have some old guy with yellow teeth...then after that i just hurried up and went away from them idk what to do when a girl takes the inititative to get to know me i like get scared but when not im alright?

In english class today we were all trying to figure out why Illinois has alot of Spanish Speakers. It doesnt quite seem right. Its smack dab in the middle of the United States.

Everyone nowadays says it is wrong to hate. So is it wrong to hate those who hate? Or should you just hate hate itself? If you actually are a hater is it wrong to hate yourself? Should you just not hate people but hate the part of people's brains that make them hate? What if you just hate things?

I need some advice real bad...I have a secret that I have been keeping from my family for a long time now (although I'm only 18)...I am a lesbian. I don't know how to go about telling my mother without hurting her and going against her beliefs (she's christian). I am so confused...I don't know what to feel anymore, whether I should just forget about how I feel and not tell her anything so she won't be hurt by my secret, or if I should tell her and risk our close relationship (she's like my best friend!). I am so depressed and I just don't know what to do...I need help really bad :(

god is either all powerful (as they claim) but he allowed 911 to occur;
or he is NOT all powerful and couldn't have stopped 911..

To any religious who choose to answer, do not slander all atheists in a generalization, I'm talking about the extreme atheists, which still aren't as bas as a radical religion, not as many murders. Also things like trying to keep religion out of laws isn't extremist, it is just fair.

I celebrate Christmas, so sue me. And when I see people getting all wound up over some one saying merry Christmas in public it makes me just as mad as when I hear "God is the only way to true knowledge" or something like that. I mean woh is honestly offended when some one wishes some one else a merry Christmas? Does it really force religion on anyone?

If I was on TV I'd make it a point to wish everyone a Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah just to make a point. It is wishing some one happiness during your holiday, is that so bad?

Look we've been together for two months! But i really hope we are together for a lot longer. Baby, I think about you all the time, when i wake up, in school, playing tennis,before i go to sleep. Somehow you are always on my mind. I want to know a lot more about you. i think you are a great person and have a beautiful heart. i am really lucky to have such an amazing boyfriend like you. Everytime see you my heart beats faster and i have to smile becuase just looking at you makes me happy. No other guy in the world can make me nearly as happy as you do. I am still a teenager living with my parents. I have grown up all my life as a Baptist but I have recently been interested in converting to Cathlocisim. My belief is that no one can be a color. I have never seen a pitch black person or pure white. Or red or yellow. Colors had a meaning before they were attributed to people. This is my opinion. I'd like to hear from my fellow "colors".

Do you feel that there is really as much of a problem with them or do you feel that perhaps it is just that these children are just different? I think that to drug all of these children is wrong. That perhaps they are just meant to learn differently and sitting in a classroom is geared more towards most female children than these.
