I think all the tiny slow animals hitched a ride aboard an elephant.

actually pond.... has a great idea. , but this is a great answer. maybe god gave them a little extra speed to get there , or they were originally not far in the first place. at least not the snail. it would have been a lake snail for all we know. just like geography says that at one time the land mass of earth was 1 whole peace. because if it wasn't how did many animals that now only exist in certain countries have the same ability to get to him.
still again i like the question, like the story idea for kids. who knows maybe an angel helped them most of the way.

About the same notice you'll get when life on earth is about to end. If you don't believe God can do miracles then why wonder about it at all. Animals and people have instinks which God put there and have you ever done something and wondered why you did it as it didn't seem rational? There are a lot of miraculous things in nature whether you want to believe it is of God or not and nothing good ever came from an explosion or something left to itself.

Ah, those cute little Bible stories. Even though you and I can't take them literally or seriously, no point in upsetting the "believers". Frankly, I'm much more concerned about the fairy tales George Bush is telling us about the war in Iraq. And if we asked him, I'm sure he'd have a very plausible explanation for those turtles and snails, too.

LOL, never mind all of the animals on other continents, how did THEY make it to the middle east?
The truth is, this is nothing more than a fable. There is NO evidence for a global flood, none. Not one Iota.
And christians know it, that's why they lie and make up crap to try and give credibility to what is incredible.

God does not give notices, he can't write. Remember he has no body nor brain, he just exists. And since animals had free will they should figure out on their own what would happened.

As my garden is usually infested with snails, apparently at least two of them had enough time.

The animals walked , flew, or swam.
HE gave them enough advance time to get there.
Sorry this idea is too much for you to conceive!
