This can easily become a political issue.
My building, property, city or neighborhood is holier than yours.
According to the Bhakti Yoga tradition the whole earth planet is sacred since the Supreme Lord incarnated here.
Wherever the presence of the Supreme Being, the Supreme God, is invoked - that place is the holiest.

Debatably the most holy place on earth, in the Judeo-Christian view, would be the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. This is the site where the temple of God once stood, where God lived upon earth, and where it is believed that a holy temple to God will once again stand and where the throne of Jesus will be when He reigns on earth for 1000 years.

The Lord's Temples
The Garden of Gethsemane (sp?)
The Sacred Grove where Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ

Whereever it is that I choose to worship Him in Spirit and Truth - He is there.
okay - I would say any beach or a mountain top in the world. He created both - he uses analogies for both in the Bible - so that's my answer!

the most holy place on earth is where ever two or more people are gathered in prayer, as it is said, where ever two or more are gathered in my name, there I am in the mist of you. where God is, is holy ground.
