Adventists are the exception. Who decided to change the instructions in the bible to have the seventh day as the sabbath? Sunday is the first day of the week. Seems to be a direct repudiation of God's specific instruction.

First off, I go to a pretty big school (upwards of 40 thousand people here), and basically, all I really know are some of the people on my floor, my roommate, and a few other people, including some people who I went to high school with. I was wondering, other than joining organizations (cause I'm already gonna be on to that), how I could expand my little network.

Churchgoers, please offer me a serious answer. There are many news reports of pedophile priests and the priests that cover up the crimes. There are the preachers that scam the people for their money. How do you know the preacher is speaking with the authority of God, not Satan?

I'm just scared that USA will wipe off all the muslim country's off the earth because israel is not happy, so to make israel happy USA will wipe us off, and if we protest we become terrorsists. I mean i dont want anybody to nuke anybody, but is USA gonna wipe us for israel?

When I was 15 I played hide & seek (yes was a bit of a tomboy!!) up local allotments where flats were being built. I decided to hide in an unfinished flat that was held up by scaffolding all the outter side had been done and part of the roof, so I decided to hide up there when I was rumbled for some unknown reason I walked the edge of the roof and fell after slipping on loose bricks now I fell through all through the scaffolding right to the last bit which I got completely wedged in about 5ft off the floor. Now I didn't believe in Angels but surely that wasn't luck? I mean why go through all the other scaffolding which was same width only to be caught by last one and bearing in mind it was a 10 storey fall I came away without any bruises or broken bones. Sounds crazy but I swear it on my whole familys life it is completely true.

In Rome, there were more slaves than citizens. Slaves weren't allowed in the nice, marble temples so had to join other expressions of spirituality. Many slaves became Christians and began systematic attacks on the temples, beliefs, and pagans of Rome. Rome had many cults, so why would Christians be singled out for such harsh punishments? They must have been a social movement that struck from the shadows, fearless of death in their actions, attacking the Institutions of Rome's civilized society. What do you think about this theory? Is there another reason why Christians would have been so persecuted in pagan Roman times?

They are plain white chinese take-out boxes that will be used as party favor boxes (filled with candy). I want them to look nicer. It is a 13th birthday party and the colors are orange, fucia, and lime. It is a night party with dancing and swimming. It's a pretty big deal. Please help!!!!!!!!!!
