Why instead of killing infidels the muslims don't act like missionaires spreading their gospel?

Question

Like the Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses that go door to door without calling the others infidels and wanting to kill them.

Well I prefer a peaceful Islam missionarie to come to my home, than a Muslim telling if Accept Allah NOW or suffer the consequences.

What consequences?

Hmm....well, here are some completely reasonable and logical reasons.
1) 78% of the Middle East is beneath the poverty line, maybe more.
2) In countries that are 99% Muslim, then can't exactly go door-to-door unless they go airport-to-airport first, and again the money issue comes up.

The Koran authorizes violence, while the Christian Greek Scriptures ("New Testament") actually FORBID it. Also, the Bible is different from the Koran in that it REQUIRES a Christian to preach.

A common misconception is that Jehovah's Witnesses go from door-to-door because they feel it is their duty to get a householder to "convert". In fact, Jehovah's Witnesses would go from door-to-door even if there were no hope that anyone would change their religion, or even if no one would listen to them!

That is because Jesus Christ specifically assigned the house-to-house ministry to the Christian congregation, with no regard for specific results.

(Luke 10:1,2) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come. 2 Then he began to say to them: “The harvest, indeed, is great, but the workers are few. Therefore beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.

Jehovah's Witnesses are trained to direct attention to the bible, and move on when their message is unwanted. Since each congregation in the United States tries to call at every home in its territory at least twice each year, there is strong motivation for them to move on where little interest is shown. Also, the Scriptures help the Witnesses to expect little interest from most:

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching ...and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

Read your history books about Christians, including Mormons, before you decide that they are any different to Muslims.
They, like the "Muslim extremists", have been just as guilty of murder and terrorism. The Muslims are just as busy spreading their gospel as Christians are but they don't try to shove in your face as much as the Christians do.

Muslims have missionary activities, I mean, they try and convert people to Islam, and the fact is a lot of people in the west are converted, remember Cassius clay - Mohamed Ali.

Muslims don`t kill non-Muslims

did you see Muhammad Ali or Malcolm X or Cat Stevens killing non-Muslims??? The answer is no because they know that True Islam isn`t killing others for their beliefs

You are confusing the faithful Muslims who follow the holy teachings of the Quran (and read and think about the passages for themselves) with ...

Radical, Inflammatory, Terrorists who use the 'cover' of 'faith' as an excuse for their Violent, Abusive actions -- which includes the destruction of their OWN Houses of Faith and Worship, killing/assaulting/kidnapping their own Family members or children or women, oppression of others, property destruction, killing a person just for the color of their skin or the way they dress or talk, etc etc etc.

The Muslim golden age was a result of conquest by the sword. Conversion by the sword is what made them great. You want them to change to the practices of the infidels?

Because the Muslims know Islam is impotent and would never be accepted without force...especially in a democracy.

my grandmaother was a missionary and i still don't like them.

do you know that often times (at leat they used to) international missionaries refuse to give aid unless the people gave up their former religion.
this happened especially during the irish potato famine
