There is a lot of debate in the one place in the bible that says anything about tattoos

It says in the old testament not to tattoo your skin or trim your beard
The other translation is not to tattoo your body to Honor the dead

but then It also said in the old testament not to eat or do alot of things that changed after Jesus came back

so I think it is okay as long as you are not tattooing demons and bad things or honoring ng the dead if you feel conviction then it may not be right for you but if you feel okay then you are okay

I have several now that I researched it

Sure, why not? What's the problem with tattoos? Many people get tattoos to beautify their skin and make it artistic or to express themselves. I have two tattoos that symbolize my love for the Earth and for animals. Blessed be.

Don't burn your bridges behind you. Tattooes are permanent but fads come and go. The " in " thing today looks stupid in a couple of years.
When clothing goes out of fashion, you throw it away or send it to your poor relatives who live out on the farm.
Tattooes stay. In a few years clean ,pure, unmarked skin will be admired. Those with ugly pictures all over their bodies will be thought of as freaks.

It says not to mark the body, so I would say NO

Many, if not all of us, in the world of tattoo have had Leviticus 19:28 thrown in our faces - "You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord." Usually it is meant to condemn either our profession or our obviously decorated skin. So what is a Christian tattooist or tattoo enthusiast to say? Is tattooing indeed defiling the temple of the Holy Spirit? Are we callously ignoring God’s commandment?

We as humans have free will. We choose to do what we want with our bodies..piercings, tattoos, gain weight, loose weight, get a sun-tan, and even bleach our skins.

But if you are a christian, the body is no long ours to do what we want with it. The bible says our bodies are a temple of God. That goes for everyone both male and female.

Tattoos and acts of body piercing are not intrinsically evil. The Church offers principles by which Catholics can discern whether it is sinful to be tattooed or have one’s body pierced in particular situations.

I would add however I have no desire to get one.

It's fine for Christians to have tattoos. It's not exactly raved about in the bible, but the bible's a load of bullshit, so go ahead. I personally guarantee you won't burn in hell for it.

In the Bible, it says that your body is not your own, it is God's, so it probably isn't a good thing to tattoo it.

I think will big problems like warfare, hunger, and disease God has plenty to be busy with to worry about something as trivial as tattoos.
