My marriage is just one month old. My in-laws have heard a rumour that I am a drug addict which I am not. I told them I am ready for any kind of test. But still they have not sent their daughter to my house. Now that they have even asked me to stop talking to her on phone. My wife has confidence in me and believes me.

and why wasn't he the first calif, even Omar has said:if ALi wasn't Omar was dead(b/c Ali helped him in many cases)

There's always chocolate bars in my office fridge. I don't know who they belong to, but sometimes I can't help taking it. Anyway, today there's a huge bar of dairy milk in there and the temptation to snaffle it is proving too great.

Let's pretend...Thousands of years into the future when a new civilization is built and archaeologists (or whatever they are called then) start to dig up our civilization, what will they think? Will they think that the huge golden M's all over the world was a religion and we all followed the leader Ronald? I think it could be a funny possibility. Have you thought of any other possibilities that the future might presume about us?

Today I read a sentence in a book:
He is over 50 but he is so slim that losing weight is not a problem for him.
I think this sentence is against common sense. Usually losing weight is not a problem for a fat person not a slim person.

• The trader who is prompt and honest will be among prophets, martyrs and the righteous on Day of Judgement.
• Weigh correctly anything that you sell and when you buy something have it weighed correctly.
• Tell the buyer about the defects, if any, of the goods you sell. Having done that, the transaction is acceptable, if not detestable.
• All fraudulent and treacherous transactions are forbidden.

• One who repays his debts promptly and in the best manner is the best amongst you.
• Allah’s curse will fall on those who lend money on interest and on those who bear witness to such deals.

That technique where you try to on the one hand make everyone feel guilty about something, and alternate that with the vague promises of eternal life, so that the congregation is never quite 100 per cent sure if they are going to go to heaven or whatever the reward of your religion is. Is it something you learn in seminary school and if so, does it have a name?

The time is way beyond past for black people to come together and work together to better ourselves. Fighting each other is giving some people just what they want. White people make it with each other; Asians be lying all the time for each other (lol); Latinos roll 30 deep in each ride; Native Americans are doing their thing; Jews are so successful that you couldn't even guess they've gone through so much as a people (this is all speaking in generalities, of course). Black people have been at the bottom of the heap for a long time. Though they may be hindered and held back from us, the unalienable rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness still belong to us too. Is fighting and quareling with each other and hating those of us who come up what we want Black America to continue to be known for; or are our lives and the lives of our children worth fighting for? They say people choose their fight. We should fight to regain what already is ours: Happiness.

Not that the equasion always works in the other direction, of course. But, yeah, I keep hearing "Oh they're not Christain, they're Catholic", and it makes my brain hurt. It's like people are mixing up the definitions of "Christain" and "Protestent."

I've heard something about praying to the saints, like Protestents have a problem with that sometimes? Going by what Catholics have told me, praying to saints something like asking your boss' friend to talk to your boss for you; they don't worship the saints. Or, at least, the Catholics I know don't.

If it worships Jesus, it's a Christain. Catholics worship Jesus. So yeah.

Maybe my little mind can't comprehend the subtleties here or something, but it all seems fairly straightforward to me...

I've accepted Christ as my savior and recently rededicated my life to the Lord. Today, I've been trying to get my mind around the idea that God has forgiven me of my sins. Jesus died on the cross and shed his blood for my sins ... but I'm having trouble getting my mind around how this works. Don't misunderstand me, I'm not doubting my faith at all ... I just somehow don't understand the mechanics of this.
