My marriage is just one month old. My in-laws have heard a rumour that I am a drug addict which I am not. I told them I am ready for any kind of test. But still they have not sent their daughter to my house. Now that they have even asked me to stop talking to her on phone. My wife has confidence in me and believes me.

Wait...you're MARRIED to her and her parents WON'T let her see you?

Man, that's your wife...She's the most important thing in your life, and you're the most important thing in hers. There's no way (legally or literally) that they can stop her from seeing you.

WTF. That's so narrow-minded of them. Well obviously your in-laws are not going to listen to you any time soon, so your best bet would be your wife talking some sense into them. Go ahead and take a drug test, then show them the results. I wish you the best of luck. Don't let your in-laws bring you down, what's important in your marriage is you and your wife, and not the in-laws.

Where are you living? In which century? Go to your doctor, get a blood test, get a letter from the doctor to say that there are no drugs in your system, give that to your in-laws, take your wife by the hand and take her back to your home where she belongs. If that doesn't work go to see a solicitor and ask him to telephone your in-laws and talk to them.

You didn;t marry your in-laws, just into the family. They are clearly trying to separate you in your marriage, which is cruel to your wife. Lay out the future to them politely but firmly. If they continue to spread rumours about you they are risking your participation in their lives.

You wife needs to stand up on this too.

just remember. the wife is what matters. it is the two of you. not the 4 of you. you have the girl, you already have the upper hand. dislike inlaws will eventually come around once they see how it has effected the daughter. cause you both won't see them as often as you would.

Your wife believes in you? Kick your in-laws to the curb with your wife's blessing. Who needs that kind of aggravation, anyway?

Take anyone of your inlaw's family into confidence and with their help get a medical test done and prove your innocence.

Your in-laws will forgive but trust me they will never forget. Its your wife that matters but sometime you 've to understand that your wife will be torn between her parents and you. Compromise with her and you don't have to do it with your in-laws.

You say you're married? to whom, a minor or a woman? she's your wife and by law you can have her unless of course she doesn't want you and chooses to obey her parents then it's better to dump her and get another one.
