So, I'm alittle pyschotic, germophobic, and pessimistic, but at least I don't use scare tactics to force someone to have sex with me (ie.men)

For example, I told some of my male counterparts in my theology class the other day my feelings on the "affection/pleasure" topic: how I hate holding hands and how disgusting sex is and there they were with the same lame excuse: "You'll die childless, lonely and cold as a virgin!"

As if I can't adopt a child! As if I don't have any friends in the world because I don't have a man! The idoits!

Or, they would try to be funny because they can't think of anything smart to say.ie"Go get laid!" To hell with those losers!

Or, they would not listen! Like the typical male. A woman could say the word of God, but if it's a long speech, intelligent, intimidating, and not about how big her boobs are, the men wouldn't even listen.

My friend told me her boyfriend had the chutzpah to ask for a poly-amory relationship with another woman! wth?

Based on the question here:

All the Christians who answered apparently aren't old enough to have critical thinking skills. But the reality about Christians is the majority of the adults are very intelligent and will be able to answer the question. Does a person, based on the South Park charachter Timmy, who is handicap and can only say his name Timmy, have eligibility for heaven; based on the bible verse: Philippians 2:9-11.

For those of you who may not know, I am an agnostic with no intention of converting to any religion, or changing anyone else's religion.

I had a normal childhood, not extravagant, my parents were legal immigrants and worked very hard for what they now have - if I could say anything about them is that they were very efficient in life. Today, I've worked hard my whole life, I've had a career from an early age where I've worked hard AND contributed to society, now I'm working in another field that helps people - but the bottom line is that I'm 30, still can hardly support myself, have a current opportunity to better myself by taking this particular school course and I'm just over it. I find myself skipping the Saturday classes because I'm simply tired and want a break. With work, a husband I take care of, a tight knit family with whom I like to spend at least a few hours a week with... I know I need to do something to make "it" better. I just seems to feel like I've already worked so hard and still don't have anything to show for it. It's depressing. Seems cumbersome and endless. Feel it too? how did you work through it?

I feel that one should carry out his or her belief in a moderate and normal manner and according to the society and environment maintain their practices without looking too absurd or too much away from the crowd.

If religion wants respect it needs to respect others and stop trying too pass laws to restrict other peoples freedom. eg: abortion laws. As it seems the religious are not able to do this why then do they expect to be respected and get upset when they are not? as can be seen in this question

...or does the other person hear in their own language? I from what I read in Acts I believe the person speaking is using their own language and the receiver hears in their own language. Also, I read that's there is always an interpretation. Not an interpreter.

How many of you are doing this (answering questions) while you have things you SHOULD be doing instead. And what is the top thing on your list? I should be straightening up my house, but the remainder of the list is too long to think about.

This thing is too addictive, I think.
