So, I'm alittle pyschotic, germophobic, and pessimistic, but at least I don't use scare tactics to force someone to have sex with me (ie.men)

For example, I told some of my male counterparts in my theology class the other day my feelings on the "affection/pleasure" topic: how I hate holding hands and how disgusting sex is and there they were with the same lame excuse: "You'll die childless, lonely and cold as a virgin!"

As if I can't adopt a child! As if I don't have any friends in the world because I don't have a man! The idoits!

Or, they would try to be funny because they can't think of anything smart to say.ie"Go get laid!" To hell with those losers!

Or, they would not listen! Like the typical male. A woman could say the word of God, but if it's a long speech, intelligent, intimidating, and not about how big her boobs are, the men wouldn't even listen.

My friend told me her boyfriend had the chutzpah to ask for a poly-amory relationship with another woman! wth?

Give them half a chance and they'll make us their sex slaves! Why do we have to conform to what they think is beautiful! We as women are more sensible!

For example, some women like Jack Black because he's funny and can make them laugh! But Rosie O'donnel can make a guy laugh: You think he'd date her

I have no idea why you picked me as your best answer last time just to degrade everything I said, but I thought I'd follow your next question for another bout. Also, I think it's very fitting that you mention your theology class in this one considering my last answer. But I digress...

You're right. You can adopt a child, and you don't have to have sex in order to be accepted by an adoption agency. However, the two questions I've seen of yours bring up that you're against holding hands. I'm guessing this is a sanitary issue because of your self-admitted germophobia. Do you realize how dirty kids are? How they spit up and poop a lot as babies, not caring if they pee on you while you change their diaper. How they get snot bubbles and, since they can't wipe their own nose, you have to clean it up. But when they get older, they can wipe their own noses.... on hands, shirts, curtains, whatever. They don't wash their hands afterwards, and you'll never know when it's safe to hold their hand to cross the street. So if you're still reluctant to hold hands with a man of comparable age, you may want to rethink adopting a child.

Just a point of irony for you. I actually skipped over the part where you mention a girl talking about her boobs the first time around. Not intentionally. I just missed it. Thought you might get a laugh out of that. I did.

Isn't chutzpah generally used in as a compliment? I could be wrong, but I've never seen it used synonymously to audacity. Sorry, I digress again.

As for the update, you just seem to be grasping there. What you mention there is just opportunism. If a guy likes having sex and has the opportunity to have it whenever he wants, no strings attached, of course he'd go for it. If a woman liked to drink and could get beers free just by flashing a smile at the bartender, she'd do it too. It's not really a gender difference in the desire to make the best of the situation. Maybe the difference lies in the situations each gender would choose.

I go back and forth on the beauty standards thing. Yes, there is some compulsory effect from societal standards, but you take it too far. You don't have to conform to anything. You can be exactly who you want to be and dress however you want. But when you have a goal in mind, you have to make sacrifices from this freedom. If you want to attract a guy, you have to play by his rules and you have to compete with the other candidates. You only have to conform to what men think is beautiful if you want a man. If other women are willing to get closer to the 'man's ideal', you'll have to match them. If women as a group resisted said man's ideal, then you wouldn't have to sacrifice as much. Basically, yes blame lies with men but it also lies with women. The ultimate choice is yours though.

I'm not sure where you were going with the comedian thing, so I'll just leave it.

You told me a little about you, so here's some about me. I'm a 22 year old chemistry major. I don't major in psychology as you guessed before, but I have a casual interest in it and philosophy. It may surprise you, but I'm a virgin too. It's not a conscious choice on my end. I've been in two major relationships over the past few years, and both girls did not want to go as far as sex. So we didn't.

It's been fun. We should do this again some time.

Honestly, the stance you have taken is just as dangerous as what you are arguing against. Lets nto forget that the world WAS once ruled as a matriarchy and that fell for a reason. We are now ruled by a patriarchy and that will again fall because of corruption and repression. Another feminist movement will only hurt the cause you are arguing for. Neither male nor female can be in control of the other or dominant over the other - or we end up right where we are now.

Unfortuneatly - ranting like this only perpetuates the patriarchal heirarchy - because you are striving to achieve the worth and status of a man - instead of achnowledging your own inherent worth and status as a human being and woman.

Rosie O'Donnell doesn't want dates with a guy, so that's not really a valid point.
There's no need for another feminine revolution -- everything you want is there for the taking. You just have to have the will to do it. You don't want sex? Okay. No one is forcing you to have it. You want to adopt kids? Great. (Here's where Rosie O'Donnel fits in -- she did adopt kids) Adopt some when you feel you are ready to look after them. That's no big deal. The thing that really needs to happen is for you to feel comfortable with yourself. Never mind being on the defensive so much. That kind of negative feeling will just wear you down.
If people rant about getting married versus dying a virgin, smile and say, "Yes, won't that be unique?"
If they talk about not having kids, tell them, "I've decided to do something about overpopulation by underpopulating my world. Care to join me?"
It'll drive them nuts if you stay positive, but in a saccharine sweet way, rather than going on the defensive. And you'll find it's more fun as well.

I would enjoy getting into contact with you to discuss our same view points! I have been preaching on here that women are not just incubators to give birth to children.

I have never been raped, was born a lesbian, and still do not agree or have trust when it comes to men. I see them as breeders and when they do come across a lesbian their instinct is that they can change ones born biology in order to spread their seeds. This is just plain sick.

I would love to see a massive feminist movement and think it's crucial to the next presidential election that there is one. Sure, we are making progress but not nearly enough. It seems like the more liberal and independent women get the more it attracts the males to rape and intimidate them. It's time for us to take charge and I am 100% ready to fight for our rights!

The suffragette movement (circa 1848 - forerunner to the modern woman's movement) gave so many rights and freedoms to all people...both genders. In the 60s was a revival. Still it was more concerned with 'equal' rights rather than gender rights. Men...can't live with them...can't live without them! LOL It is time to examine and define your own relationships with either gender for yourself.

Please check out this site to read about actual woman's liberation:

http://www.prabhupadavani.org/Conversations/Text/009.html

Women are not meant to be exploited by men, but we cannot fight with men and try to be equal with them, because their bodies are stronger than ours. We are not meant to expouse ourselves to ridicule by fighting and arguing with stupid, low-class men. It is a fact that many men in today's world are nightmare for self-respected women. We must stay under protection of intelligent, saintly, qualified men, and then we will be very happy. If you want, you can write me an email and I can tell you more about my experience in this regard.

You do realize that you're stereotyping all men the same way that you claim they stereotype all women, don't you? That's hardly the basis for a new feminist movement.
