If you read the bible...jesus was born to a human woman which in turn makes him human...and it is taught that there can only be ONE god...so how can jesus be god?

I would like to close this question with one thing...none of you who thought you had an actual answer, answered my question...I myself donot believe in god or jesus for that matter, and no I am not an atheist either. I don't believe in any organized religion, they all follow the same flock mentality no matter how you look at it...thanks to all you who tried but I fully understand now that non of you even know how to explain anything about your religion without qoutes from the bible. Thanks again for the effort!

Many are confused about this. Most hear the word "God" and think of God the Father. The Godhead is made up of three beings, God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit, who are of 1 like mind and purpose. Romans 1:20 indicates that the creation (earth, etc) even shows the Godhead. All matter exists in 3 states...water can be ice, liquid water or steam. It is still water no matter which state it is in. God is like this...God represented by solid, Jesus by liquid, and the Holy Spirit by the vapor state. All three are eternal and were part of creation.

Neither do I. I believe that Jesus was the first ever created and through God he created the whole universe. Also, God cannot die so then we actually wouldnot be able to be truly saved if Jesus was God because then he wouldnt have died. In and nearly too many to count, there are scriptures that speak of Jesus being sent from the father God. I also do not believe in the trinity because it was started in the 3rd century and there are also many trinities ex. Hindu- Shiva, Vishnu, and Bramha.
I believe that Jesus is the son of God and he reigns on the throne.

Were not supposed to get it completely. I believe in the trinity that is God the father God the son and God the Holy Spirit they all work together as one but yet their all different. I know this is confusing and its confusing to me too but I just hold on to my faith and know that one day I will get it. There's different Christian's some say one thing others say another you just have to pray that God will show you the truth then you'll know in your heart what God wants you to know

I've always figured it's because Christians believe that God impregnated Mary, meaning that Jesus is his son, and therefore an 'extension' of God, and therefore God... Like a collective thingymajiggerypokery....

God is a singularity, whatever God creates must be created out of God because there is nothing else

therefore Jesus is God

therefore so are you and so is everything else

this is what Jesus was trying to teach

many, even to this day, do not comprehend this

Jesus says throughout the gospels that he is God's son, that God is greater than him, that he is the first born of all creation(directly created by God) and that all other things were created by him (Jesus)

yes but he was not conceived by natural means as we do...it was an immaculte conception...the Holy Spirit was at work here....He is truly part of God..so therefore the son of God born in the flesh...read the Bible it is all in there plain as could be...

God is everywhere all at once, He sees everything happening, he spoke the universe into existence. Do you honestly believe He will fit into our understanding of Father, Son etc. Your dealing with a being that is totally alien to us.
