Hi. There is some sentences that confuse me.

" I try to be patient with Tina, but she makes snide remarks about everything I do. For example, if I drop something, she says, "Isn't he clumsy? Ha, Ha!" On one occasion, she served hors d'oeuvres to the person I was talking to, with her back to me, and then walked away with the tray.
I don't mind the rude behavior half as much as her attitude"

When she served hors d'oeuvres to the person I was talking to, with her back to me, and then walked away with the tray, grandfater thought it a rude behavior. Why is it rude? Because she took the tray withouth asking the guest if he finished his meal and walked away? Please help me out~

Ganesha's head symbolizes the Atman or the soul, which is the ultimate
supreme reality of human existence, and his human body signifies Maya or the
earthly existence of human beings. The elephant head denotes wisdom and its
trunk represents Om, the sound symbol of cosmic reality. In his upper right
hand Ganesha holds a goad, which helps him propel mankind forward on the
eternal path and remove obstacles from the way. The noose in Ganesha's left
hand is a gentle implement to capture all difficulties.

The broken tusk that Ganesha holds like a pen in his lower right hand is a
symbol of sacrifice, which he broke for writing the Mahabharata. The rosary
in his other hand suggests that the pursuit of knowledge should be
continuous. The laddoo (sweet) he holds in his trunk indicates that one must
discover the sweetness of the Atman. His fan-like ears convey that he is all
ears to our petition. The snake that runs round his waist represents energy
in all forms. And he is humble enough to ride the lowest of creatures, a
mouse.

religious environment? I think ALL religious people are conformists who could not question what their surroundings did to them. By that i mean their upbringings that fed them all those beliefs.

Heaven is the perfect place right. But lets say you die and go to heaven. When you get there your whole family is there except your dad. You love him more than the world, but he didn't make it to heaven because he didn't believe in God. Your heart would be broken. Would it really be heaven with out your beloved father? My point is if someone you love doesn't make it to heaven, how could that be heaven for you?

I'm white and I'm just curious. Why do a lot of black people complain that the "white man" is keeping them down and preventing them from succeeding? I'm white and I certainly don't wish anyone career failure.

I went college shopping and bought alot of stuff in size M and L , when I really wear more like a size L. I am taking a real gamble with this because I want to lose weight during the year after freshman 15 and we all know how hard that can be.
DO you do this too? buy cheap stuff a wee bit to small in hopes of losing weight.
I'm serious however, I have moved from a size S/M to an L/XL in the course of 1 year. I HAVE TO take off weight. College or no college, its not even an option for me. I will be 30 lbs lighter in may.
But I just wanna know if Im alone or not in this.
thanks!

My husband and I have entered into a phase of our marriage where things have gotten kinda stale. I told him that I didnt mind him sleeping with other women as long as he was honest and told me about it. We are also entering into domination and threesomes. Is that something that I am insane for doing, or are there others like me?
