A local radio station aired a story regarding public nudity in Vermont.

So, searching on-line I found a Vermont nudist website.

The web site arguments for nudism are fair "Why should we be ashamed of our bodies?", but there is one issue they didn't address.

adolesent nudism. It seems very idolistic to go about life 'clothing optional'...and that's fine for those who want to be adults about it.

I don't think having young people - between 6-17 - nude is such a good idea. I realize our society isn't very innocent and any 13 year old can find nudity, but dating and puberty was hard enough let alone being naked.

Besides the obvious child nudity laws...isn't underage nudity just a bad idea?

Probably, they will want to see a miracle.
If he doesn't perform one, you can't believe that man is Jesus although assume he is really Jesus.
The same reason why non-theists don't believe today, because they can't see a miracle. The witnessed and documented miracles may not be true, may be a myth. The only reason why you believers believe Jesus in history although you haven't seen him or his any possible miracle is the brain-washing religious education which has built a spiritual world in your minds which you are afraid to leave because you will feel emptiness in your lives and you think you can face a possible punishment after life in case the religion is true.

Isn't it strange that a country that didn't afford it's own black citizens basic human rights was allowed to pontificate on the world stage about the crimes of others?

Are you planning to watch the Documentary....?
which is presenting information about the link beween Charles Darwin and Adolf Hitler?. It is being aired on Aug. 26 and 27 on the Coral Ridge Hour By Dr D. James Kennedy.... called "Darwin's Deadly Legacy"

It is an excellent presentation and I encourage you to look it up and watch.. ..
Of course I expect the evolutionist to say all sorts of critical things here ... they certainly don't want the roots of evolution exposed for what it really is...If people found out about Darwin's deadly legacy they certainly wouldn't be promoting it as truth.

Give it a watch and decide for yourself!

I got a book for Christmas, that I have never opened, read, in fact touched it until this morning. I don't think I will ever use it. I am invited to a party this weekend and I think this book would fit her personality and lifestyle.

Would it be okay to give her this book as a gift?
Or..
Should I just go buy something else since I this book was given to me as a gift?

...and seeing a lot of debate on there... is the word 'spelt' unique to England? (As in the past tense for 'spell'?) I've seen people saying the word spelt is not a real word and I guess it's one not used in the USA and other English-speaking places.
Anyone have any info on this? The word is found at dictionary.com.

A slave mentality can be passed from generation just like beliefs of white supremacy, black power, or any other kind of racism. Why weren't the truths about slavery spelled out in high school social studies class how slave masters raped black women and dismembered black men...degraded them and then expected them to have respect for themselves...always considered inferior but just get over it!?! I don't understand. Jewish people always get sympathy about the holocust..no one ever tells them to just get over it...wtf!

On the news this morning, a lady who had just had an MRI done shows her film to the news and right in the middle is what looks like the image of Jesus on the Cross. What do you think about all the images popping up of Jesus? Do you think that maybe He is trying to let us know that He is here for us? Maybe His time is getting near for returning to earth :)

That was 10 years ago , why are we still talking about it ? It seems to me that whenever a "white " child is murdered you never stop hearing about it . Black kids get murdered all the time as well as kids of other races and no one seems to give a damn!

It's just as disgusting when Republicans or Democrats claim Jesus of Nazareth would be on "their side".

Jesus would be on everyone's side, except the hypocrites, oh, and I guess, the non-believers.

My Name is Pastor Jeff Stoffels and I’m leaving this request open for anyone who is prepared to open their hearts to the work of God. We are a beautiful congregation from Hermanus, South Africa, which started off six years ago with a vision, eight people and two Sunday school children. I offered my flat to the church and we suitably revamped it to use for the church services; it has got 30 fixed chairs. Our congregation has since grown to 45 members with 10 additional youth members and 15 Sunday school children. It is thus impossible to accommodate everyone at once and is VERY frustrating to me as Pastor. The cost of the extensions would amount to approximately R70 000, which would expand the seating to 100. If you feel LEADED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT to make a donation, I can be contacted to discuss it more fully;
E-mail=jeffstoffels@yahoo.com For anonymous donations, the banking details are as follows; ABSA;HERMANUS - ACC NO. 9086303302 - BRANCH CODE; 334812

I will admit when I'm wrong, and I was in this case: it was not Jesus that said not to get paid for preaching, it was Paul who said that getting paid for preaching "hindered the gospel" - 1 Corinthians 11-18.

So with a correction I would like to restate my question: do you think getting paid hinders "the gospel" because of the conflict of interest created?

sorry for making an incorrect claim
