Probably, they will want to see a miracle.
If he doesn't perform one, you can't believe that man is Jesus although assume he is really Jesus.
The same reason why non-theists don't believe today, because they can't see a miracle. The witnessed and documented miracles may not be true, may be a myth. The only reason why you believers believe Jesus in history although you haven't seen him or his any possible miracle is the brain-washing religious education which has built a spiritual world in your minds which you are afraid to leave because you will feel emptiness in your lives and you think you can face a possible punishment after life in case the religion is true.

Well, Jesus' 2nd coming will be on a cloud, and you will be able to hear a trumpet as loud as thunder. I don't think any imposter would be able to imitate an arrival such as that one.

As for your statement:
"The only reason why you believers believe Jesus in history although you haven't seen him or his any possible miracle is the brain-washing religious education which has built a spiritual world in your minds which you are afraid to leave because you will feel emptiness in your lives and you think you can face a possible punishment after life in case the religion is true."

This is not true for most Christians, who convert after they hear the Word, while they are adults. The ones who are born into it, like me, don't make the decision until after they understand it all. Before I made the choice to accept Christ, I was living a life like anyone else who isn't Christian.
We are not afraid of anything, we have Jesus. We are not brain-washed, we are enlightened.

Don't worry, if you don't understand or accept what I'm trying to say here, that was all prophecied in the Bible anyway. It says people in the last days will ignore, or simply not understand (b/c they don't want to) the Word. But at least you now know what Jesus' 2nd coming will be like. And you'll be able to tell whether it's Him or not.

God bless you.

Very easy.

If He comes back, these will happen (which I strongly believe no one can ever do except Him):

I Thessalonians 4:17
Then we which are alive and remain SHALL BE CAUGHT UP together with them IN THE CLOUD TO MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

I Corinthians 15:52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the DEAD SHALL BE RAISED INCORRUPTIBLE, and we shall be changed.

Additions: I Corinthians 15:51-57

They same thing that happened 2000 years ago. Some will know that he is indeed our lord and saviour, and others will kick the living you-know-what out of him. I'm sure that in our modern world the American President would call him a Terrorist, put him in jail or just have the CIA whack him.

Besides, faith is something very special. I don't need to see Jesus hanging down from a cloud to know he's here; he's always here among us, helping us, caring for us, and kicking our butts when we do something wrong.

Let's say that Christ's return is spiritual.... The true believers will know when he is present, because every spiritual eye will see him and will follow peace.

Let's say there is an Anti-Christ who comes in a physical sense and calls lightening down in the site of men and calls himself Jesus....The Christian will follow him, because they don't know the spirit of the real Messiah.

That is just a scenario, not making any predictions or anything.

Jesus, Elvis, TuPac, all dead and ain't coming back. 1,000 years from now people will be looking for Elvis and Pac the same way they look for Jesus now. That's how mythology was born and the story of Jesus is no different than the story of Hercules dying and then coming back as a God. That story was around a thousand years before Jesus in the tales of Gilgamesh. The resurrection of a hero is the story of hope for the weak who look for someone or some thing to pull them out of despair when they can not do it themselves. HOPE is the TRUE GOD.

I have wondered this kind of thing myself. He will probably be written off as crazy. If he does perform a miracle in today's world it would have to be pretty amazing, because most would assume he is an illusionist or magician and write him off as good at it and crazy for the claim.

in islamic view, when Jesus return, we will check by based on what Mohammed said described about him in his tradition (hadith) :
There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (peace be upon him). He will descent (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: 'a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet.' He will fight for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizyah. Allah will perish all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him. Sunnan Abu Dawud 37:4310

How do you know you are real and not a myth.
I don't know you from anybody else, and yet 1 reason I know you exist is because of your writings. Same as Jesus. The reason we will know it is him because the Bible talks about the rapture of Christians. All Christians will go into Heaven. When all of a sudden, a bunch of people are gone, You will know that Jesus is God!!!

There are those who will not know him. They do not know him now that is why it is important to have a personal relationship with God now. As far as miracles the Anti-Christ will be able to decieve even the elect if that be possible. Those that are chosen will recognize him they already know him. God is available in a very real way that only those who seek him and have value in him. It is not brainwashing or being psychotic or any of the nonsense that non-believers will tell you. It is impossible for those who have no value in him to know him. To those who have value they seek him untill he reveals himself to them and is as real as anything you can see and touch. It is not about reward and punishment is is about the love that God has for us all even in our sins. It is all available to you right now if you open your heart and seek God and know him and he will become real to you also.

I'm sure his presence will be so overwhelming that we won't need a miracle to know its him. And, who said he'll come back as man and not spirit? Did I miss where it says that in the bible? If so, my bad. You don't know why I believe what I believe, that is your opinion. No one convinced me to believe. I'm too stubborn to follow what someone else says or does. I made the chose to go to church, I decided to read my bible. I decided to follow Jesus before I was introduced to the Christian life.
