why are people who hear a supposed god are labeled nutty? i thought people were so sure theres a god so whats so nutty to them for hearing it? is it because we all know there isnt a god and when someone says there hearing something we know they cant be hearing any god and theres something wrong with them and there hallucinating since deep down everyone know there is no god? discuss.

Why is it that some people don't worry about those things ?? Is it not common and strange to be well-prepared financially such as working to save money up for some useful purposes?? Do many people just don't do that anymore and why?? It seems like some people just don't need to plan or prepare themselves and just do things at their whim or something ...

Take the hypothetical situation of a child at the dinner table with his parents. The child takes a portion of potroast and modest amounts of carrots and peas, which he doesn't like. His mother, seeing the shortage of veggies, promptly adds another spoonful or two to his plate. Begrudgingly, he begins to eat them. Partway through, he becomes very full. He tells his parents, but they say he has to finish everything on his plate because X is starving in Y (I never got that one). He forces the rest of the food down his throat and leaves the table.

Is this involuntary gluttony? Does it carry a lesser penalty, like a B Deadly Sin? Should his parents be charged in his place or as accessories, or should it just be the mother who scooped the extra food onto his plate?

It seems crazy to me that so many people don't understand how the word "theory" is applied in science. It is understood that gravity, light, evolution, electricity, earthquakes, etc. occur and exist. We posulate a "theory" to explain how they might work. That is the best we can ever do.

Why do you think it was called "the dark ages"? Because christianity was all over the place and therefore everything was backwards. And why do you think the Roman Empire fell? Because of christianity. And what about the south? They're all christians down there and look at how backwards it is. All of these things cant be coincidences.

I am only asking because I have heard from so many christians that if you do not believe their religion, that you go to hell. But there are many different branches of christianity which got me wondering whether or not each branch of christianity believes the other is going to hell because even though their religion is a branch of christianity, their belief is somewhat different. If I offend anyone, I sincerely apologize.
