First, by acting as an expert on post-partum depression, which he has NEVER had to go through, and then acting "holier than thou" to everyone else
.If he's so damn perfect, and/or his religon is, why is there so much bad in this world? Can he jump on the couch for peace, or to let everyone live on their own terms? No,he wants everyone to BE him, otherwise, You're All wrong!! May I say, that for me, post-partum depression was awful...I felt like I was on the edge of a great cliff looking down on nothing but black. But I was so very lucky, I have a MAN, who tried to understand and try to help. Not just with "vitamins" but who was THERE!! Not out, looking for a photo op!!! No respect for you Mr. Cruise. I will never watch a movie by you again, and after all of your comments my husband agrees... Even more than I!

Mostly, his rantings to Brooke Sheilds about ther taking medication for depression, his jumping all over Oprah's furniture, and the way he has treated the mother of his child, and his child. That is the overlying stuff. We still do not know what has been said to Cruise, or what Cruise has said behind closed doors, so there may be more to the story.

The comments he made about post partum depression and Brooke Shields were uneducated and judgmental.
The way he talked about mental illness to Matt Lauer. He doesn't have a degree in Psychology, didn't attend college and claims he knows better then those who did. He spoke out against medicating mental illness, which could cause serious damage. What if someone who is a paranoid schizophrenic and was a fan listened to him and went off the meds, it could result in not only a suicide but a murder. It is a very touchy subject for someone who doesn't know his butt from a hole in the ground to be spouting off about.

His public belief of Scientology and his public non-acceptance of people who don't agree with it.
His public dissing of Brooke Shields for using counseling and anti-depressants after her child's birth.
His public dissing of anyone who uses anti-depressants.
His actions on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
His purchase of a personal sonogram machine for home use to monitor he and Katie Holmes child.
Due to his irrational behavior and airing his personal views, he has lost his contract with 20th Century Fox. That will give him even more bad publicity.

he turned into a whack-job. he tells matt lauer on the today show that brooke shields didn't need to be on drugs for depression. jumped like an idiot on oprah's couch, made threats against paramount, saying he wouldn't do any pr for MI 3 if they didn't pull the south park episode about scientology (paramount owns the comedy channel). did you notice how after the movie had hit the theaters that the episode came back. is that enough. he's totally lost it.

He lost the plot, became obsessed with a cult, jumped around like a hormonal teenager, insulted people and basically acted like a big jerk, or maybe you haven't been paying attention to all the bad publicity?

He became famous. People tend to nitpick the lives of those who the think are better than them.

For instance.

Personally, I couldn't care one iota less about what Mr. Cruise does, just as he probably doesn't give me and my shenanigans a second thought, either.

He displayed how much of a jerk he is.
Being disparaging of Brooke Shields medical condition, which he calls nothing
Spouting the nonsense of Christian Science as if it had any meaning, showing both his stupidity and the utter nonsense he believes in...
