It's where all my friends are (or will be).

I'd rather rule in Hell then serve in Heaven.

Ok, I got accused of being a liar in my last question, so I thought I would redeem myself and tell another true story...

A couple months ago I was watching the local news after tornados had ripped through our state.

A gentleman was telling a story about his misfortune with a smile on his face, giving glory to God, while the news reporter was completely mesmerized...

He told of how 2 days prior to the tornado his wife had died at the age of 42 from heart disease, and how his church had graciously taken up an offering to pay for the expenses.

However, when the tornado hit the money flew away, he was lifted out of his house and set down across the street completely unharmed, and his house was nothing but rubble. Of course, the camera pans the scene to show the disaster.

He never once broke his smile as he proceeded to repeat that God is good and his faith is just being tested.

My question is, how do you feel when you hear this story? Do you think it brings glory to God?

I'm referring to people you've known in real life, and the influence they've had on your beliefs and the way you look at the world.

Since there is no 'right' answer, I will put the answers to the vote.

So that you can have the opportunity to be forgiven and set free!

It depends on your response, to accept this gift of salvation, or reject it and die in your sins!

Where will you spend eternity?

How foolish not to accept the best gift of all!

...why do you assume (if indeed you do) that it is as easy as falling off a rock to convert to Christianity? Why are some of you so quick to condemn those who doubt, or those who refuse to believe as you do? There seems to be as much disagreement within Christianity as there is between those who believe and those who don't.

Galations 1:6-10
6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an ANGEL from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.

DId u see that angel was in caps? An angel (Moroni) appeared to Joseph Smith with a different gospel.

Today my history teacher said this: If you aren't a feminist then you are sexist. Do you agree or disagree? I want real thought out answers. Can we please not turn this into an argument or a place to bash people you disagree with? I'd like to hear your position and reasons why you feel that way.

f it's all-powerful then it doesn't need worship, and if it's benevolent then it wouldn't want worship. So, any being that pretends to be a "God" or "god" would either have to be a liar or a tyrant. -

It all boils down to the fact that it's between muslim and jew. It's God's chosen or not. God is having his way. The earth is also responding to the rape that people are committing to her. There are more natural diasters now than ever. Every place on earth has a story and a certain spirit behind it. This is a wake up call to every human on earth. Get right or get left. Get Jesus and be his child or don't and be and the devils child. There is only one belief and that is that Jesus saves. He is not a religion. He is not a methodist or a christian or a baptist or _____ fill in the blank. He was born of a jewish woman who worshiped God who had no religion. She was just chosen to bring the savior into this world. Why would you not want to live right for God. Why do you worship your own life? What gives you the right to live the way you want to. You didn't die for anyone. Hello? Don't ignore the signs that are around. He is coming sooner than you think.Do you really know what's going on?

I was watching NOVA channel a while back, and it said basically
that the odds of our planet and people being here purely from
evolution, is like comparing your DNA with someone else. That it
is a chance of 1 out of 50 billion. Plus, it's like this : Let's say u
came home to find a cake on your counter ? Who made that
cake ? How did it get there ? Did it get there all by itself ? Like
magic ? NO. Someone had to make it. Someone had to know
the right ingredients. One wrong ingredient, and it's a flop. It won't
be what it is meant to be. So, in Evolution theory, for the odds to
have that cake on that counter, you would have to have way more
to understand just how powerful, Creative Intelligence is. ( GOD )
What are your views ?,,,
