Can atheists be moral if morality can't be derived via formal proofs?

If the only basis for morality is some sort of game theory, then won't you "cheat" when no one is watching?

Catholics usually give me this verse in proof that the apostle Peter is the "rock" (head) of the church and all succeeding popes:

Matthew 16:18 states, "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

But others say that Jesus Christ is the Rock and can be the ONLY Rock (foundation) upon which the church is builded. He (Christ) is the foundation that no man could lay. 1 Corinthians 10:4 states:

"And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ."

(The capital "R" of Rock is in the KJV Bible text-I didn't add it).

The "spiritual drink" mentioned in this verse is the Gospel and the Bible tells us that Christ is the Rock. Then I went to Deuternonomy 32. Here there is a distinction between "rock" and "Rock." The lower case rock is in reference to false gods while Rock refers to Jehovah God!

Jesus loves me this I know for the bible tells me so.... how come no one knows this any other way?

Little ones to him belong, they are weak but he is strong... well, I don't know how they belong to him when they were born to their parents, but aside from that... he couldn't even carry the cross without help... that's strong?

Then they go on to repeat that Jesus loves you and the bible tells you is why you should believe.... this repeating of that last line sounds very much brainwashy. The more you repeat something the more you will tend to believe it.

I know I'm gonna get yelled at for asking this... what else is new though.

It seems to me that those who came out at a very young age sometimes have a complete disdain for people in the closet or those who are coming out, slowly later on in life. Isn't it wonderful, on the other hand, that we do have such wonderful GLBT people who support us, do not belittle us, and do not call us names?

One in which the deity is omnipotent, but chooses not to use their power to save people. Where they are all knowing, but were unable to prevent people from doing evil (see: omnipotent).

A deity that once was hateful, but has since become extremely compassionate to the point where they don't hate at all anymore.

We can all go around and tell everyone else that their way is the wrong way and they will suffer for eternity unless the join us. They will be assimilated.

Pre-requisites for the religion: You need to be wishy-washy and hypocritical, egotistical and self-centered, demanding and uncompromising, intolerant of other religions, and fanatically supportive of the religion.

If a person felt the need that they had to call a police station 24 times in 2 days, and this person was sure that they suffered from obsessive compulsive disorder, would it be wise for them to see a psychologist or should they go through with calling the police sttaion that many times and just hope they dont get caught. Also, can psychologists really help a person that is suffering with obsessive compulsive disorder?

Is there a rough timeline that when was Adam and eve exists ?
In another word, when did God created the Earth and garden of Eden with respect to our current time ? 5000 years ago, 100,000 years ago or some other time ?
Was it ever documented or discussed in bible or Q'uran ?
