There are a bunch of different answers to this question:
1: It depends on what your belief is. Some people believe that if they are bad, the bad karma that they have will effect those who they love.
2: It depends on the type of "sin" that you commited. Let's say that you beat up your little sisters best friend, lets call them person x. Person x may then not want to be friends with your sister and this will affect her. Another example is if it is a sin that directly affects someone that you love, like stealing something from them. Another example is if you do drugs, or join a gang and get yourself shot the ones that love you will miss you dearly.
An example of your sins affecting someone follows: my friends boyfriends dad was in the mofia (sp?) and he owed someone money but never paid it back. In return my friends boyfriend was killed. So the sin of the father affected the dad.

Within my belief and understanding of the Bible, all that you love can be affected by the actions and decisions you make, that is why repentence is key in life...if you know you have commited a sin, confess it, ask for forgiveness and try your best not to do it again...but remember...the key to forgiveness is how you really feel about the situation in your heart...you will not be forgiven if you just feel "guilty" and yet your heart is not right in the matter....if you see other making the same mistakes you have made or acquiring diseases that seem to run in the family unclaim it in the name of Jesus and bind that sickness and therefore remove it from future generations...I found this true to be for alcoholism, cancer, permiscuity/looseness, etc but your heart has to be right in whatever you choose to do...you reap what you sow and it may not come back directly to you, but others you care about/love

Yes. Your actions may directly or indirectly affect them whether it's obvious or not. For example- Say you do drugs. You spend a lot time and money on drugs. The time you spend on drugs takes away from work, family, volunteering in the community, and etc. The same goes for money. If you get into an accident and physically hurt someone (or yourself), then you cause pain to your family, the victim, the victim's family, and everyone who knows you and the victim. The pain can influence their thoughts and actions. Younger people see your behavior and think it's acceptable, models it and starts another chain of actions. The same goes for whatever you do. It doesn't matter if it's having an abortion, getting divorced, having children, graduating from college. All actions affect others

Salam (Peace)!
Yes, in a way that if you commit a sin, you might influence the people you love to do the same which would earn you double punishment.
Take care and try your best to stay away from sin.

There are always consequences to deal with from either doing good or sinning. That is why sinning is labeled wrong by God - He knows that the wrong committed will cause bad situations or harm to us and the people that we love. This is something I discovered after I paid the price of being with the man who was my 1st husband - I wanted to prove to my parents that they were wrong for condemning him- and now I am living with the effects of divorce on my 2 children. I hate it - because their lives are not everything that they deserve.

sin not only effects immediately but ...for three generations! Your great-great-grandchildrens generation! Remember Ham that Noah cursed, his son started that curse arolling! Alcoholiism effects several generations, like diabetes, like other diseases passed from generation to generation. For that matter your Love affects those around you, given the choice ,which would you rather spread?

Yes, they will, in way or other. But think about it... Do you really think your "sins" are sins, or is that just what people want you to believe?
You have to think about it and make a choice. Don't let other people stop you from doing what you want just because they are narrow-minded.

Sin harms others as well as ourselves. That is why God hates the sin yet loves the sinner.

Yes, our sins affect the ones that we love.
For example, if a person is an alcoholic, that person's addiction to alcohol affects that person's family & friends.

For the most part, I'd say yes. No matter what the sin is, you'll most likely be modifying the status of trust in your relationships (even if it is just ever-so-slightly).
