People take the bible way to literally. The kind of God they believe in accepts everybody. There is no unforgiveable sin. Despite what all the Christians say. He will accept everybody.

There are thousands of species of just beetles. Why would god take the time to create so many if he did not like variety? So why would it not be safe to assume that he/she/it likes variety from worshippers too? Why would there only be one way to get into heaven? All rivers flow to the sea.

I was born on Rosh Hashanah and this year my 30th birthday falls on that day (on both calendars...obviously), I was thinking of having a party on the Saturday night before Yom Kippur...do you know if it's kosher?

Say I was arguing with somebody about how a glass of water got on a table and I pointed out 5/6 of a finger print that matched a guy named Mike and concluded that he probably did it but don't know for sure because I wasn't there. And some one else said the glass was put there magically let alone the finger print because he read a pamphlet that said it was so he knew it happened that way. When I ask how he proves this he say that I can't prove it didn't happen and the fingerprint was only 5/6 full. Who wo the argument? Don't talk about how the analogy isn't perfect, I know, and I'm not trying to convert anyone, just trying to inspire thought. By the way, I know not everyone is like this and thank you for that. So regardless of religion answer the question honestly, who won the argument?

The story goes that these scientists left behind dead, maimed and mutilated creatures everywhere so God dug a hole lined iit with stones and put a sign up that said the neighbours house and these profiteering scientists jumped right in. He called it the earth and some say that's how you catch them, and the earth was the lamb slain at the beginning. Maybe it's like the universal garbage dump, it was someone's room, once,maybe it's all a piece of work

Saw another photoopt most likely organized by well paid person and publication paid of good folks helping others.It seems some are trying to put dollar sign on everthing. What happened to days when it was normal and expected that folks helped others. And when some want to put dollar sign on everthing, than does everything lose value. Thinking of starting non-proft against non-profits.

I'm just a little curious because on my wedding day I wore a sleeveless dress that showed the outer edge of my sun and moon tatoo, and an eight year old little girl asked me if I believed in the worshiped the devil. I just laughed at the cute little kid and told her no. Then, she asked me if I was telling the truth then why do I have devil fire on my back. This was priceless. When I showed her that it was a sun and told her that God was supposed to have created the sun. . . her mother runs up and tells her daughter not to ever listen to "people like me".

I went to bed and discovered monsters are lurking under there...I took my bra and slang my IPOD at them while its blaring Barry Manilow music but they just laughed. I tied my bra in a noose... (ummm its not a very big noose) and I threw it under there like a rope....I think I have one of the monsters and its struggling for breath coz of my elastic bra noose...but I also havent seen my cat for a while...what should I do to solve this problem and rid me of the monsters forever ?

Americans never smile. We are always pissed off. We haul our fat asses around in air conditioned suv's while sucking down fast food yet we are still unhappy. Starving Africans smile more than Americans. I see poor kids on tv grinning ear to ear when the find a good stick to play with. We are doing something wrong.

I would be interested in your thoughtful answers to the above. What does it mean to you? I have read "dictionary" definitions, but I am interested in the "street" thoughts.

Why am I asking this? When I mention one specific person to another person, that other person pontificates, "*I* don't carry grudges." Yet, I'm not so sure.
