Its not only ancient India. It was there with ancient mankind. It can be seen in most of the ancient cibilisation.Whatever we claim as inventions are really re-discoveries. The jet propulsion, the surgical skills, the science of sex, love, animals, bird languages --you name any, you will find refernces to them. The only diffrence is that those who knew it at that time did not bother to propagate it and did not write books on it where as now, even with a small innovation, you have hundreds of presentations on them. They were just not expressive!!!Moreover, the influx of other people from different parts spoiled these innovations as non sense and only believed in theirs!! When Galilee said earth is round, several thought he is a conspirator and wanted to hang him!! That was the nature of intolerance!!!

Sorry but you have the story backwards, these things are suppose to have started in ancient Atlantis then after Atlantis was destroyed by a volcano and earthquakes India became the center for world education. Like ancient Egypt and Timbuktu was in the beginning. And yes India did have people coming from all over the known world coming there to be trained. As teachers,Priest, Doctors, and etc. Also all of these countries that say that this or that martial arts came from their country are filled with lies. The Martial arts started in Africa and were taught existentially in India, Brought there by Budarama who is by the way an African. And like the old saying goes believe it or not.... P.S. The Oriental Priest brought the martial arts back to their own countries after studying it In India for some 20 to 30 years... And who were considered to be Oriental everyone from Africa to the eastern Europe................

its a really good question. Now think of waht other have said here. Does it really feel that it is feasible that one part of the world was ultra advanced and the others were not? Sounds weird right? Well let me add a few things to make all of it fit.

We are not the only civilization to have references to a lot many advanced applications. The egyptians and the mayas have them too.

One more bit of info before i explain. All religions, floklores have a comon story about the destruction of the world a few thousand years ago.

Now picture this. We were a very advanced race not scientifically but meta physically. The now redundant frontal lobe proves that we did use it some day.

We could accomplish a lot using the forces of nature as our sources of energy. Then one day we were almost destroyed becoz we misused the power. Not destroyed by GOD ut by our own deeds. by the ways we may b on the verge of destrying ourselves all over again. ( the above mentioned point of world destruction common to all cultures)

The knowledge was limited to the learned few but they were really advanced and could work wonders. but their mistakes made other suffer. The other planned revenge and destroyed the learned few and abolished all learnings. (example All of Hitler's advancements in science were either stolen or destroyed)

And the pictures and refernces you see are people still remembering what they had seen but no longer existed.

if u wanna discuss in detail email me

I totally agree. I was sceptical at first or when I was in teens. It was very difficult for me to believe that such things must have existed in those olden days.

But, I am taking a keen interest in the past and I have observed that most of our precious knowledge has been destroyed or hasn't been noticed.

I will cite a simple example. The persons who designed the Taj Mahal had his hands cut off so that he would not built such a monument in future.

Every part of the world. since human evolution have been fantasising about future in many ways. Some have come true and many have not come true. This does not mean any one country had knowledge or expertise.

As mankind keeps on developing new tools, we attribute them (wrongly) to the fantasies of past and think they existed.

Life in past centuries were not at all that great as we imagine.

Life expectancy, education, language refinement, technology all were at very low level and it was impossible in those condition to have had any of these weapons/gadgets except in the world of fantasies.

Man's capacity for fantasies have been in existence through out the history.

It is very good question. But you think that the discovery & invention is like an evolution i.e. if you have no knowledge of wheel & axel then how could you design a car ? similarly ask that person who have a belief that ancient India have technology of N-Bomb and others that why ancient Indians had no motor car while they had Rath pulled by Horse ,they had no gun they used to fight with weapon like Bow & Arrow ? They don't had static telephone
even simple microphone but they use mobile phone?
All are fantasy of litreture like famous science fiction "Notilus".Pl think yourself which answer are more justified.

Yes, that is described in vedic Literature,
But they where not like the ones we have with us today...
There are 2 things "Mantra" Power of Sound Vibration on Ether and "Yantra" Power of mechanical movements ...

Currently we have only "Yantras" or machines.. Before we had power to manupulate and make weapons/veichles using the facility of Mind and Ether ...

As men slowly gave up the vow to not misuse these things,
God also slowly took away these things too...

But Still today there are Yogis in India who still can manupulate ether and Mind ...But they know how to control it also....Its not mazic but just another science
