I dont find any arguments good enough to prove he even existed. It would appear that 'Jesus is a Myth' is more consistent with the data. His life conforms to the ancient myth HERO patern quite easily. The data i have seen, that convinces me Jesus was a myth, comes from Christians trying to prove the case that Jesus did exist, coupled with 'common sense'. Christians ruin their own case for an historic Jesus.

Jesus was most definatly a MYTH!

I have never discussed his actual existence. Atheism is not about denying Jesus existed. It's about denying he was God's son. Apparently, there's enough evidence that a certain Jesus Christ did exist about 2000 years ago, and that he was a political leader, who was killed for his ideas. Or, as George Bernard Shaw put it, he was the first Socialist ever.

I think I would have liked him, but I would not have been his follower.

1. Proof? What proof?

2. What's your question?

That is not a question, it is a statement. To make a claim that there is proof of something, you need to provide it, not merely announce that it exists.

Right. Most likely. I have always thought he walked on water too, but it was some time in the middle of January and an exceptionally cold winter.

i would like to state as gently and compassionately as possible, as taught to me by my buddhist faith that predates christianity by at least 500 years, and is way cooler, that your alleged question is uniquely incoherent. in any event, as a demi agnostic i feel duty bound to say, that christ did exist, was a nice jewish boy, and was, essentially, the equivalent of the buddha in terms of enlightened consciousness. and like the rest of us was a child of god, and perhaps, the son of the sun. cheers. the end. :-)

Jesus existed, its his power I'm doubting, his presence was written in other places too not just the Bible. The old testament actually happened, the stories written there were also written someplace else, like the great flood and noah's ark, it just wasn't Noah who survived in other stories.

Try letting someone else type out your questions because you clearly find it difficult
