This is one of the truly weird things about the current conflict in the Middle East!

Palestinians and Lebanese consist of Muslims and Christians, who all believe that Jesus was (at least) a Prophet and the Messiah foretold in the Old Testament.

Israelis (at least the ones in power) are all Jews who don't really think much of Jesus at all, and they are still waiting for their Messiah.

Yet most American Evangelicals support Israel! That is because they think the Jews have to "win" so they can rebuild the Temple Of Solomon and start the end times. But the funny thing is that most Jews really have no interest in rebuilding the temple and reinstating their priests.

So if they really want the Temple rebuilt, the Evangelicals need to get the Palestinians to do it! Only problem with that is that the Mosque built right on top of the Temple ruins is the second holiest site in Islam. So it's just never going to happen.

I am not a Muslim but i do know the answer.
Take time to read the Quran. It is a most interesting book.
The birth of Jesus is in the Quran. They just do not believe he was the Messiah. They think he was a prophet.
They also believe he will return as a prophet.

Yes, you can not be a Muslim until and unless you believe in Jesus Christ being the Messiah and the slave and Messenger of God. Muslims also believe Jesus will return in the end times to slay the anti-christ and establish the kingdom of God on Earth.

He is in the Qur'an. Yes

I should have just given the standard Christian answer: Read the Qur'an! Well, slight variation.

Jesus is a prophet in Islam though, not a god. Mohamed is the last prophet. For Islam anyhow. No more tricks until Joseph Smith came along.

See he is even respected as the actual Muslims put the (Peace Be Upon Him) behind his name.

Yes we believe in Jesus(peace be upon him) but he was a prophet of God not His son.
In Islam we call Jesus as "Hazrat Issah".Though Jesus died on Cross but His body was raised to Heaven. We also believe in the second coming of Jesus before the end of this world.

The only difference between muslims and christians is:-

We say Jesus is a prophet while christians say he is the son of God.

certain, Muslims do particularly trust in Jesus Christ as a prophet. you've ask such a large number of questions straight away, i do not recognize the position to commence. a lot of people that call themselves Christians do not stick with the teachings of Christ. Muhammad, Islam's Prophet, believed Jesus became despatched via Allah to be the Messiah, miraculously born of the Virgin Mary, who extra the Gospel, who died, became raised from the lifeless, then ascended into heaven to be with Allah. Jesus might want to develop right into a everlasting blessing to all mankind! wish this help.!

They do believe Jesus (pbuh) existed, and that he was God's Messenger. Aisa (Jesus) holds very high esteem in Islam, and so does Maryam (Mary). They don't believe that Jesus was God, but that he was sent to us by God. Jesus is in the Qur'an. In Muhammad's early life, he was sometimes mistaken for a Christian because of his kind nature. This he didn't mind, he took it as a compliment.

Take a peek at the Qur'an.

Jesus is the great stumbling block. Muslims who accept Jesus as Messiah are the same Muslims who are horrified by Islamic Fascism. Muslims who reject Jesus want the world rid of both Jews and Christians. Its a 99% accurate litmus test.

Muslims believe that Jesus really did exist and that he was a prophet of God.

They do not believe that Jesus is (a) the Son of God, or (b) God. They do not believe in the Trinity.

I am a Christian, and believe what the Injeel (New Testament) teaches -- that Jesus is God in human form.

Cordially,
John
