If it were given to you to judge the children that you created at the end of their lives, the children that you are so concerned for and love so very dearly, can you conceive of anything-and I mean ANYthing-that your precious child could ever do that would cause you to condemn him to an eternity of torture? Everlasting agony and fear beyond belief forevermore?
Think about it, Christians. It takes very little imagination to conjure ideas that you would find punishable. Hell, you might even kill your child if he was threatening to destroy the world. But you can’t seriously conceive of any sin truly deserving of ETERNAL punishment, of endless intense physical torture for your own beloved child. So do you really think you are more forgiving, more compassionate, and more loving than God or do you concede that God couldn’t condemn his beloved children to eternal hell any more than you could? Get rid of hell and focus on the love part because if you have the love you don’t need the fear.
