Racism being justified is an oxymoron if I ever heard one. Racism is never justified. It is always a choice. You cannot judge a whole race by generalizations or by observing a segment. It is hatred and no one deserves that judgement. Ever.

Racism is the contention that one race is INHERENTLY SUPERIOR to another. This notion has been repudiated.

Cultural relativism says that no culture is superior to any other culture. This is hotly debated right now. To me, it is obvious that all cultures have flaws but that some are obviously superior to others. A cannibalistic or ritually suicidal culture isn't the equal of mine, for example.

To mix these two together, a flawed culture indicating racial inferiority, is an explosively dangerous logical fallacy -- so I don't agree that "some racism is justified."

Who's in control right now? Ancient Egyptians once were. They lost it and what else can be said? Justified? What goes around comes around.

Okay, I read both...

In these times of war, poverty, environmental problems, etc. - people should be getting together to fight against these problems - not against each other. If the person next to you on the front line saves your life - do you care what race he is? If you need an organ transplant - do you care what race the person who donated the organ was?
Racism is bull...

I think it's bull. No racism is justified, ever. You can define it any way you choose, but racism is about hate, pure and simple, and hate breeds ignorance and stupidity.

NO racism is justified! No matter what our race, we wll share just as many similarities as we share differences, Those similarities could be used to our advantage if we would ALL stop focusing only on the differences. And please, speak for yourself and formulat your own thoughts....don't quote other's questions....it makes it unclear what YOU are asking.

I think she was trying to prove a point in her own "twisted" way. I don't care its her opinion but I just hope she don't judge me or another black person based on one black person's character.

Everyone is racist. Everyone is naturally predisposed to favor their own race, but is it justified? Not necessarily.
