My 4year old daughter has decided she wants to be a bat for Halloween. Tried the batman batgirl thing but she's not buying it. SHe wants to be a regular bat.
Any ideas for how to construct a costume? I'm not that handy with a sewing machine and I don't want to spend a small fortune on a costume.

I caught one in my camera when my husband and I took a picture together. It was the day before his deployment to Iraq, Aug. 9th. I just got the pictures back yesterday. The orb is huge and very light reddish colored. It has an outer edge to its core. It is round and hovering just above our heads to the slight right of us. The weather was 75 degrees in upstate New York and no moisture on this day or anything. We were outside in front of Boldt Catle. This orb isn't even high enough to be the sun or reflection. I'm wondering if it was a spirit from the castle, our energy bouncing off of us, or a guardian angel, or the light of love from God because my husband was about to leave for Iraq. Anyone have ideas of what it could be?

I was diagnosed with a terminal cancer in October last year and I was told I would be dead by January. I turned to Jesus Christ and sought Him day and night. I began speaking life giving words over myself. I constantly cursed the roots of and rebuked the spirit of death over my life. 1 month ago God came to me in a vision and said "You are healed." This was only 3 days out of hospital where friends and family thought I would probably die. I am living proof that Jesus Christ is God, He does still heal today, as long as you trust His Word and do not doubt. Has anyone else had a powerful touch from God?

I've been in counseling and on medications for three years, diagnosed with bipolar II and panic disorder & PTSD. I accept the diagnoses, as there's a clear family history. There's no doubt the meds have helped me. But often I come away from therapy sessions (with a counselor I really like) with a feeling that putting the suggested skills, according to a secular mental health view, would be in opposition to what the bible says.

For example, I seems to attract individuals who are needy, and guess I'm an easy mark. I have a tendency to take on people as "projects" when they're down & out, or I feel they are vulnerable, alone or have been taken advantage of. End result is that they become very dependent, and I soon begin to feel trapped and not liking them very much. To the world, the simple solution is to remove myself from these situations, but in my own heart that often feels like an unmerciful concept according to scripture. I get confused. I wonder if I should just pray. Thoughts?

I'm tired of working and earning money for myself. I'm tired of this materialistic society. I've been thinking that it's about time that I commit my whole life to the Lord by serving Him full time through missionary work. I've checked out some Bible schools and saw one college that really caught my interest. It is what I want to do. Now. But I don't want to take action unless I've received God's signal to do it.

I think the good muslims get to mad about those who hate or criticize the radicalist, and i think though they deny it many evolutionist hate atleast the idea of christianity (not including theistic evolutionist) since it doesn't go with their idea, also for those I insulted i'm sorry i'm still working on how to ask good questions and no accidentally offend people. I don't hate anyone i hate certain ideas people worship. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son so that who ever believes in him will not perish but have ever lasting life John3:16 anyone who doesn't like that idea or hates that truth is someone who shouldn't be getting mad at me for exposing lies put forth by certain evolutionist and muslims.(my question is in the title)

To be honest I think my sexuallity was determined when I was born but as there is def. proof and some people think it is nurture I may as well think about it.

I am just wondering if any of you had any homosexual occurances when you were very young? As I did, and it makes me think could that really of made me want more therfore making me gay?
