No matter who you see that are dead, or who you hear, Remember, the devil himself can transfer himself into an angel of light. It is not dead people you knew. The Bible says, The dead knows nothing. Be careful!

You will never see spirits of the dead. They remain in the grave until the 7th trump.(return of Jesus) To discern between good spirits(ministering angels) and evil spirits(fallen angels, aka demons) is easily done. Good angels are only seen when God has sent them to you to minister to you. Evil spirits are what most people see. They are decieving spirts sent by Satan himself to turn us from the truth. If the spirit you see is NOT ministering to you about God and Jesus he is an evil spirit!

Sometimes if you hear a voice it is your own spirit guide trying to contact you. I don't know about dead people. I don't see them.

Well no one 'dies'. Just the physical body does.
Some may be souls who haven't crossed through the event horizon of the light yet or some could be out-of-body living humans.

Real time is relative to your existence. It could be that you are able to see and hear into the dimension before or past our dimension, or it could be spirits.
