I caught one in my camera when my husband and I took a picture together. It was the day before his deployment to Iraq, Aug. 9th. I just got the pictures back yesterday. The orb is huge and very light reddish colored. It has an outer edge to its core. It is round and hovering just above our heads to the slight right of us. The weather was 75 degrees in upstate New York and no moisture on this day or anything. We were outside in front of Boldt Catle. This orb isn't even high enough to be the sun or reflection. I'm wondering if it was a spirit from the castle, our energy bouncing off of us, or a guardian angel, or the light of love from God because my husband was about to leave for Iraq. Anyone have ideas of what it could be?

It's a complete shere. It's not on the edge of the picture, it's in the middle where we are standing. It's was taken with a disposable camera.

Dear Maky: It would be amazing to me if a camera could pick up the aura from physical emotions. The Red Chakra is located in the abdomen (the gut).
Again, I find it difficult to understand how a camera would capture this. Highly spiritual people do see other's auras with their eyes.
It means, literally: "Fear - wanting to take flight - anger."
This, of course, would have been completely natural and understandable in such sad and frightening circumstances. That you both had the red orb means that your emotions were in sync with each other. All chakras are seen as aura around the head.
The light of love from your Creator/Father, Maky, is always the great rays around us. If you do not have a working relationship with Jesus, presently, invite Him into your life, now - today. That's all it takes. Speak to Him from your heart to take care of your husband. Ask Him to intercede to the Holy Spirit, on your behalf. The Holy Spirit is the mechanism of Miraculous energy.
Give details - his name - where you believe he presently is located - if possible - and make it deeply personal and known to Them. Inside of Time - we are all autonomous beings. If your husband has your Will for his life - shares it in the deepest recesses of his soul - you are two, joined together, with the same Will. That is powerful for you. Jesus and the Holy Spirit will intervene if that is so. We each have responsibility for our destinies. The responsibility is within our souls. We do not judge what a soul needs to do. And, Love is forever.
Finally, there is no death ever. You are Eternal as your Creator/Father. We are spirit-mind - as He is. The Resurrection and the story of Lazarus are the demonstrations that spirit is always fully conscious, fully awake and knows itself to be. . .
No one can be lost. Your Father was not willing to lose a single Child. He would be incomplete if that could be possible. Not one Child can be lost. In Time, the appearance of death is - that we are simply "just out of sight." Communication is always taking place through the One Mind of the Sonship - the Kingdom.
Fear is lessened when we understand - we are never without each other. Never. Of this, I promise you!

My adult son took some pictures in an old grave yard and had the same phenomena. No huge orbs, but several smaller orbs that were clearly visible in several pictures with no discernible reason for being there.
Taken at night, no sun glare and the only lights were distant house lights, nothing nearby to cause glare or reflections.
Ghosts is just as good an explanation as any other. But, I don't believe in ghosts, so I don't know what caused it. It was a digital camera, so no film to expose.

Many believe that orbs in pictures are spirits of some sort. While in Iraq different people took pictures of a tomb we visited and there were orbs in the pictures, but only in the tombs, and no it was not light reflecting. Also I took pictures inside a church in Spain once and it was not anything on the camera, or any reflection in the church, because other pictures did not catch the phenomenon of wisp like clouds that were on those few pictures.

It was probably a speck of something that just happened to be very close to and in front of the shutter when the picture was taken. You can accidentally do things while taking a picture that will create odd effects. For example if you accidentally get your finger in front of the edge of the shutter it will look wierd but it won't look like your finger. I do that with my digital camera sometimes. The lens is in the upper left corner of the camera on the opposite end from the shutter button. I have to be careful to keep my finger away from there because it will screw up my pictures. If the camera that was used to take the picture was held vertical instead of horizontal then it's possible that the person that took the picture had their finger in front of the lens. The color of the object that you are describing sounds like a finger unless it's a complete sphere. If it's a partial sphere then keep your fingers away from the lens.

Well most times orbs are dark in color like gray or either light like white. Because it's a reddish color it really does sound like it's something to do with the camera. Send a pic if you can so I can see for myself. I do believe in the supernatural but not all the time.

Cameras do things -- lens reflection, a reflection of something else, dust in the air or on the lens. There are no spirits of the dearly departing hanging around and posing for cameras.
