Just because you're an atheist, doesn't mean God doesn't work through you. People are like tools, even a crooked and rusted tool, God can use for good.
And I wish that I could escape somewhere, where the corruption of mankind would not affect me. Do you really believe that the torture of animals and prisoners (Nazi concentraion camps - human experimentation) done by scientists has really come out for the better??? Or that nuclear technology done by scientists - is really what will save mankind??? If you do, than you are in denial and need to do some research on the high price that has been paid by millions of innocent lives for the highly touted but incompetent scientific advancements of mankind.

What about scientists who are not atheist? There are plenty of Christian scientists who are faithful to their religion, and don't feel it contradicts their religion to try to save human life through experiments. I'm sure most of you have come into contact things that scientist did that have helped you stay healthy, pasteurization, penicillin, cancer treatments (they will get better sometime). Many of the scientists from the past were Christians who came up with these things. Such as the monk who came up with the idea of recessive traits through his peapod experiment.
"highly touted but incompetent scientific advancements of mankind."
Ok so you don't want to be a part of a scientifically advanced society. Stop drinking pasteurized milk, don't eat anything that is packaged it all has chemical/radiation killing in factories. Get off your computer, use all natural shampoos because most are tested on animals, throw away your makeup for the same reason. Don't take any medicine that is all scientific, don't use contacts or glasses also scientific. No filtered water go to the stream and get a drink.
If you honestly think science has done nothing you are daft science has changed the way we live we no longer die because of some of the things i've mentioned like unfiltered water. I would be willing to offer you money to go a month without any thing based on science, and see if you still have the audacity to say it has been worthless.
"rcheology a lesser science continues to support the writings of the Bible. "
How exactly do you figure this? you would be hard pressed to find an archeologist who admitted the world was 4,000 years old. Archeology deals with man Antrhopology deals with interpretting things from past civilizations. Neither deal with things that are not man so they are devoid of any say on things such as evolution because they do not actively study anything preman. That falls under various other things such a paleontology etc.

NO! Why would i need a backative from something MY GOD CREATED!That's just absurd! I think u'll be the one wanting back up when u realize that God really exists! For the record my God has helped me before and he promises that He will not forsake me in the future, y doubt that?

No.All one needs is Faith alone.
But is is worth mentioning that as time goes on science is not really providing any definite answers on creation. Just theories. Science has proved that every single organism on Earth shares a common string of DNA.
Archeology a lesser science continues to support the writings of the Bible. And the more they dig the more evidence of proof they find.

Thats pretty rude. And not a question. There are plenty of Christian scientists. And there are plenty of Christians who know that if they are drowning, they would rather have an athiest lifeguard who can swim than a bishop who can't. Religion doesn't try to discount science. Newton, Pascal and plenty others were devout Christians.

From one atheist to another, leave the christian community to themselves. Questions like this only prove that Christians either get under your skin or you are intolerant.
