I mean if you knew the begining and ending of a book or movie, would you read it or watch it? And is it really free will that we have? Or is it part of that Plan he has for each of us?

You know the story. What's represented through the characters, their motivations, story plot, etc., regarding religion.

Does it represent Catholisism, Buddhism, any 'ism? What about these does it say?

This god worshipped by Christians and other is a bully. He rules by fear and intimidation. Why do people worship him. It's not out of respect, is it? It's out of fear for the threats of hell and such, isn't it?

Morality means to make judgments about right and wrong behaviour according to conscience, which is what atheists do all the time, but most religions seem to want their followers to reject the exercise of conscience and instead just follow orders. This suspension of individual conscience seems to be how all the greatest atrocities in history have occurred, such as the Holocaust and Stalin's purges.

So, can you be religious and still have morals? If so, do you have to reject the authority of your religion in order to do so?

What is wrong with aborting a child who you know will be born with Tay-Sachs disease?

It is one of the worst genetic disorders, here is a fact sheet on it:

http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/taysachs/taysachs.htm

Now, if you knew a child were going to be born with this disease... would you abort it and spare it and yourself the horrible pain and misery of dealing with an uncurable horrible disease? If you believe that is morally wrong, then tell me please what is morally right about allowing someone to suffer continuously from something they cannot recover? Why would you judge someone who wanted to spare her child and family this horrible ordeal?

Before believing in the bible people have the choice, but it is only after that they become enslaved by religion when it is impossible to choose anything other than what you are told. Prove me wrong, and you'll be proving me right.

TWIST is the first national gay and lesbian (and I would think bisexual, gay-friendly, and other people also) geared show that is a 2-hour weekly syndicated radio program, also streamed on America Online. It was made by the same people that do MTV's LOGO channel on TV. Do you listen to the show Twist on the radio? What do you think of it?

I sometimes listen to Twist on the radio but I've been busy as of late. Can anybody please tell me what questions or subjects they talked about in the "group therapy" part of the show with Maya Kollman over the last few weeks?
