they are miserable, that's why they are here! they are hoping something good does rub off on them! I mean, would you go to somewhere where you hated the people? no! that would make no sense at all. they do like us!

I try not to critisize any religion. I do admit I get a bit defensive when people say that I worship the devil, when they fail to see that the devil is a christian entity. I accept the fact that there are other people with different beliefs and I am perfectly fine with that. I will not try to prostylatize or preach my religion, that is not our way. However if you try to tell me that I practice something that I don't of course I will come at you. Would you like it if I said that Christians worship a blood thirsty, violent god. I could point out all of the people that were killed in the OT by Jehova, Yahweh, God. You wouldn't care for it. I agree that some of the bashing is uncalled for and are done by ingorant people with out the common element of respect. But Christians are not innocent of the act either, especially to us pagans/wiccans/witches. I have been Christian I do know the bible (and in some cases better than some of the Christians here) however how many christians have taken the time to actually learn what the pagan practice of wicca or witchcraft is all about? I know there aren't many. One clue we are healers, not cursing ugly green skinned women on brooms (even though I do have one above my door). It is a two way street on the bashing. If a question bashes one or the other that is what you will get back. Unfortunately it will show up in a perfectly legitamite question as well.

Why would you be proud to scare people off? Is that what Jesus would want?
And I think that you are looking through coloured glasses. There are plenty of non-christians that stand up for themselves on here, just as there are plenty of christians who do the same.
Your 'question' just seems so nanny-nanny-boo-boo and immature. Perhaps it's time to return to sunday school and learn what being a christian really is about - it's not about being proud of instilling fear and disgust in others.

Bashing works both ways.. just as many christians take pot shots at other belief systems - atheists and others - as take pot shots at them.
I respect your right to believe as you will, I don't expect you to respect mine because that rarely happens anyways. However, don't think that you will rub off on many atheists, a good number of us have been in your shoes and left of our own free will.

I guess in the long run me being a Christian and when I die I was wrong I lost nothing. I will just turn to dust. But if the people we"offend" are wrong they will be paying for it forever. Then they will had wish they had listen and opened their minds a little more.

Because of that infamous Christian intolerance, some of my best questions have been removed. So I stoppped asking them. What's the point when Christians hold such powerful advantages in society.

If a part of them, no matter how deeply buried and pushed down, didn't wonder if maybe we were right, then they wouldn't be bashing us. They have no real values to hold to, so they have nothing better to do but put us down. Regardless, it doesn't change anything. They will continue to spread their lies until the day they die.

Christ didn't empty a room when he was here. He couldn't get away from people. They sought him out.
Maybe you're emptying the room because you guys are not really like Christ. Please consider.
