This god worshipped by Christians and other is a bully. He rules by fear and intimidation. Why do people worship him. It's not out of respect, is it? It's out of fear for the threats of hell and such, isn't it?

Pardon me, but your ignorance is showing. You should really have that checked...

Fear of threats (hell, punishment, whatever) does NOT produce worship. It doesn't even produce respect. It certainly doesn't produce love! The only thing fear can produce is a reluctant submission. How many people do you know, that actually BELIEVE and LIVE like that?

Why don't you do a little homework, before making such stupid assertions?

True worship comes not from fear, but from love.

I'm betting you don't know anything about that, either......

You know, I am pretty sure this is the same attitude Lucifer had when he was kicked out of heaven. Be careful! Your creator loves you and made you in his own image. He only gave you breath. And wether you want to believe it or not, your short time on earth is for one purpose. This is the chance that God has given you to decide where you would like to spend eternity! With your maker in all his Glory in the heavens or without! without anything good any light, any peace any joy, any love.....
I'm sure you are a great person, but you should know, God didn't want to make us robots and force us to choose him, He gave us a choice. There's a lot more to Thanking God and Praising Him then just to miss Hell. He takes care of His children. God Bless

I live with a bully and the only reason I would kneel before him is to have a better shot at biting him in the balls. I agree with your question though.

Swedenborg states "a perception of the sphere of falsity from evil that flows forth from hell has often been granted me. It was like a perpetual effort to destroy all that is good and true, combined with anger and a kind of fury at not being able to do so, especially an effort to annihilate and destroy the Divine of the Lord, and this because all good and truth are from Him. But out of heaven a sphere of truth and good was perceived, whereby the fury of the effort ascending from hell was restrained. The result of this was an equilibrium. This sphere from heaven was perceived to come from the Lord alone, although it appeared to come from the angels in heaven. It is from the Lord alone, and not from the angels, because every angel in heaven acknowledges that nothing of good and truth is from himself, but all is from the Lord" (Heaven and Hell n. 538).

Absolutely not. God is not a bully. He loved us so much that he sent us Jesus to die for us. Anyone die for you lately? He never makes us do anything. We choose to serve Him because He loves us, even though we are sinners. I don't chose God because I am afraid of hell, but because I want to spend eternity with Him in heaven. That's a no brainer choice! Heaven is a free gift. You don't have to earn it, buy it, grovel for it, or even work for it. You get to go to heaven simply by accepting Jesus Christ, and what He did for you... dying...for your sins... and mine...Thank you Jesus... I don't have to pay the price for my sin.... He paid a debt I could not pay. I owed a debt I could not pay. I needed someone to wash my sins away.... that's what Jesus did!

Smash your enemies! That includes anybody who wants you to fear them, or anybody with that sort of mindplay, they don't deserve anything. But either way, god's dead... or just not real from the beginning, so I could care less.

No it is not. I would endure hell, to prove it exists. God does not threaten, unless you're a pessimist or an atheist. I kneel because I chose to.
God bullies not one. not even a sinner. that's Lucifer's job.

Well it depends who the bully is and how powerful.

If the bully is stronger and is using a leather whip, and there is no one else to help, maybe yes. Just to stop the beating and abuse.

I dont know what you mean by christian and the other.

I don't think of him as a big bully....I think of him as a spiritual leader, that leads me to peace. I believe that he sent Christ, but he does not want me to be associated with that group that causes others to see him as a big bully.....I hope you find peace.

Take Care

GOD ALMIGHTY is not a Bully.
GOD was kicked out of the EARTH by Adam, when he sinned (Tree).
Satan is the Master Bully, and anybody else who act's like a Bully is being influenced by Satan.
I hate "Bully". (Evil and Wickedness).
