The people on here are so mean. I asked why no good looking guys ask me out and a couple people said I'm ugly. But I know I'm not ugly because the guys at my job always say "Hi, beautiful!" and "Morning, sexy!" to me and then they laugh really hard about it. I just wish they would ask me out once. Why do people think they have to be mean to other people when they ask a question? they also think that im lying or something..Im sorry for being totally honest..next time i will put up a "pretty pic" that is not really me maybe a guy with hot abs or something..then i will ask something like "im 19 and my peniss is 12 inches is that normal" is that what you people want?

For the past few years I've been having experiences like hearing or seeing ghosts. Smelling odd things that arent around like tobacco or perfume. Things disappearing and turning up later in a completely different place. Like once my glasses were on my nightstand and the next morning they were on the floor on the other side of the room. Unexplained cuts. I wake up with cuts on my arms or legs. Now I have small cuts on my fingers and long deep cuts around my wrists. I've never cut and I dont have finger nails that i could accidently scratch myself with. Its happened in various places like home, my dads, my aunts, anywhere I stay and there arent any sharp things around my bed that could cut me. Also I seem to be more sensitive to parnormal activity during summer while my grandmother had more epxeriences during winter. I was wondering if theres a reason people have more experiences during certain seasons. Any explaintion would be appreciated.Thanks!

Agnostic, not wanting to convert anyone.

You all know about the intelligent design debate. There have been answers to my questions today saying we should teach the Truth to our children, about God and Jesus. Which Jesus?

A woman three nights ago told me she prayed and got a car from Jesus. She said this is the 3rd car she got from Jesus since 1978. Is this what we want in public school science class? That the human is so complex it requires a designer, a creator, and 99% of the proponents of intelligent design are evangelical christians, so naturally the "creator" is God/Jesus. Does this mean my son will learn the "truth", that Jesus will give him a car?

If for no other reason then to keep children away from false teachings of Jesus, heck they can't even get evolution teaching right in school, shouldn't religion be kept out of public high school?

Intelligent design is a religious concept. Shouldn't it be kept out of school?

Ok, so last night I turned off all of the lights & my went to lay down on the futon in our living room. For some reason, we decided to sleep there instead of our bedroom. Anyway, I was laying there with my eyes closed for maybe 3-5 minutes (not even close to falling asleep), and all of a sudden with my eyes closed I see flashing lights, and then I open my eyes & wake up my husband & he saw it too & jumped out of bed. The light in our hallway was flickering/flashing like crazy for a few seconds at least, because I had time to put on my glasses & turn on the kitchen light. My husband ran to this light after it turned on by itself, and was going to turn the light on, but he noticed the switch was up now, which neither of us could have done since we were 8-10 feet away on the futon. I was just wondering if anyone could possibly give some kindof logical reason for this, because we can't come up with anything that would explain everything. We were really freaked out by this episode.

In today's culture, many people have different beliefs and thoughts about their own personal God. A diety of any kind, I believe would be offended at this phrase. As well, if a person has no God, but has any thought of kindness or concern for others feelings, it would logically follow that you should not use this phrase as 1) you don't have a god and 2) you may be offending someone who does.
We don't say "O my satan" "O my shiva" "O my Zeus" "O my mother earth" "O my crystal of power" "O my inner self"..... Why "O my god" ?

I am Southern Baptist, and I mentioned to a family member that I was invited to go to the Church of Christ w/ a friend on Sunday to visit her church, and have lunch afterwards, and they had a fit, and even called me back and told me how upset they were that I was going??

( I told them that isn't it better then not going to church at all? and "they" said, " Well,

"I just do not believe that the Lord would turn his back on us..like the CoC does. "He" said that they feel that once they leave the church and come back that they have to be saved again@@@!!!
Is this true?
Please tell me..so I can understand why they were so upset.

Did you know that in sociaties and cultures throughout history, loving or marrying someone of the same sex was not considered odd. I have studied history and cultures all my life. It is mostly in Judeo,Christan,Muslam culture where they say it's wrong.
